Good food, strong cocktails!

Ideal place for corporate entertainment. Smart and relax atmosphere. Very much a place for business lunch/diners.

We went to Beacon on a relatively quiet Sunday evening and the staff were excellent from the moment we arrived at the reception until we left. Steak and fish main dishes were excellent but our salads were swamped by crispy onion (I would not recommend restaurant to a vegetation). Desserts were largely excellent and I would recommend the bread pudding.... More

I revisited Beacon on another trip to Tokyo. When on a business trip I often end up enjoying my Sunday dinner in the hotel room as it feel awkward to dine alone. . . at the Beacon this is not the case. Go sit in the cozy bar and have your meal along with other single travelers reading a book... More

I have been to here 2 time, the first time was here for a birthday dinner, good was ok, nice service and nice selection of wines. The second time was here for brunch. I had beacon big burger, I thought it should be a nice american burger, but it was really bad. Hard meat, not even juice + unexpected burger... More

One of our all time favourites in Tokyo, Beacon describes itself as a chophouse but also does amazing fish dishes. The black cod in particular is wonderful, but it is difficult to choose between everything on the menu! The service can be a little slow so not somewhere to visit in a rush, but on a relaxed night out it's... More

Good lunch menu - lovely salads that are delicious with plenty of flavour, variety and a good size (i.e. meal sized). This is something that can be difficult to find at lunchtime in Tokyo. Prices are good value and include coffee. Excellent service including awareness of ingredients and adapting dishes to allergies. Much appreciated.

An almost US style steak house in the heart of Tokyo. Very impressive and fair priced (for Tokyo standards) wine cellar and top quality wines and very attentive a welcoming service. I would recommend the meat combos which allows you to try 2 or 3 difgferent cuts as main course. One thing preventing the 5th "star" is the fact that... More

Well prepared and presented food and one of the best bars in Tokyo for a relaxed cocktail mixed by one of its best barmen - Nathan. Make sure you try his version of a traditional margarita...or one of his mojitos!

This is the place to visit if you are looking for a great American steak in Tokyo. It offers a variety of steaks; American angus, Australian and of course the famous Japanese Wagyu beef. I have personally tried the American and the Wagyu, and they both are spectacular, just make sure you ask for the FLAVORED SALTS they offer, their... More

So, we went here for dinner after hearing about the great burgers. The strange thing was that they don't serve burgers at dinner. I had the swordfish and it was quite good. A lot of times places over cook swordfish and it gets tough, but the quality was quite good. The risotto was also delicious.

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
