This is my third visit here and the food is amazing and the vibe is fantastic! This time round, we made a reservation but was running late and lost our reservation as we were 10-minutes late. So you have been warned! But they were lovely and gave us a space at the counter, right near the front door. It wasn't... More

Ate here on a recent trip - recommended by the hotel I was staying at. It was good - but a couple of dishes did not work for me. The octopus with kimchi and avocado did not work for - the combinations tasted odd. The garlic shrimp was nice - but be prepared for a lot of garlic. Sear beef... More

We wanted to try an izakaya and read about this place in the lonely planet. The food was very good. Lots of different ones with meat, fish, vegetables. Good choice , well prepared, friendly staff. There is a lot of noice so not the place for a good talk. Although I liked our visite, if you look for an Japanese... More

This is my all-time favorite restaurant in Roppongi, hands down. The yakitori is delicious, and they offer a plethora of options to choose from. I've gone with carnivores and vegetarians alike, and everyone leaves well fed and happy. First off, if you're going to Jomon before a big night out, then I suggest you do the set course + unlimited... More

A friend living in Tokyo took us here for dinner. It's a cosy little place with a smokey atmosphere. The food is really good, if a little on the expensive side. If you are in the area, just wander by and check it out. We were with a native Japanese speaker so there were no communication issues, but I don't... More

A japanese friend brought me here...the place is full...thats probably the reason why it takes a long time to order...you should enjoy your alcoholic drink so you dont mind waiting....the food is good....will come back if i can find it.

There's no visible sign outside so it can be a bit hard to find. It's just across the street from a Family Mart store. Staff spoke very little English but since we sat by the bar, we just pointed at various skewers in front of us. Contrary to what some other reviewers mentioned, most of the guests are Japanese. But... More

I had a reservation for dinner and after taking off my shoes was taken to a seat at the counter. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the tasting menu with several different skewers and everything was served hot and well seasoned. The quail eggs were a standout. Definitely check this place out if you want a fun atmosphere,... More
