The food is very good and the atmosphere is very lively. This place is great for larger groups. Ask for the private room seats about 10 and request the fixed menu with all you can drink option! You will not be disappointed. I have been here a few times and it's a great place for foreigners :)

We were in Japan for 3 weeks beginning and ending in Tokyo. We ate in Jomon at the beginning of our trip and returned again at the end because we just loved it. The AAAAA Steak was awesome, as was everything else! On our 1st visit we had a window seat that meant my husband had his feet on the... More

This was our first Japanese barbecue experience and it certainly won't be the last. This is a lively bustling place, with a hip/chic feel to it. The food is excellent, along with the best saki I have ever tasted (the local beer is good too). Staff are passionate about their food and on hand to help you with your selection.... More

Walked past this restaurant whilst hunting for another and the smells emanating were so seductive. We wanted to eat there, but it looked too 'cool' for us as we were new to Tokyo. We walked past and chose another restaurant. However, a few days later we plucked up the courage to go in. We'd been intimidated by the clientele who... More

The preconceived notion I had of this place is that while the grilled goods are better than average, the disproportionate price markup would relegate this place to only special occasions. It turned out that the food was delicious as expected but the sticker shock ($45 for two people) was actually due to our bill being less than I expected. Ambiance... More

Visited this place based on the tripadvisor recommendations. Whilst the food is without a doubt lovely and feels very Japanese, it is just too small a serving (pretty common though in japan). We sat at the bar after removing our shoes at the entrance and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place, tried a few differet things which as i... More

I came here for the Japanese BBQ and sitting in front of the bar. The food are very nice but the atmosphere is just soooooooo good. You will feel so happy watching them cooking and washing dishes without know actually why. People work here are definitely passionate about their job and they laugh all the time. They are not like... Everything was yummy...except the grilled rice cake (not sure what it's called in Japanese...yaki onigiri?) was a bit too hard. Favorite was the bacon wrapped lotus root...the root was soooo sweet. Everything tasted great, really. You just should try a little of everything if you have the appetite. Go early. It's always packed. For the first time visitor...this place is... More

Yakitori at its best. Great atmosphere. Cozy little joint in the heart of Roppongi. Open till 5 in the morning. Perfect for a bit after a night out.
