Awesome

My husband and I ate here on our first night in tokyo. We had just arrived after a long flight and had stopped at the brew dog bar for a pint. We got chatting to the barman and asked for a reccommendation for dinner. He recommended this place. It's the first time I had ever had okonomiyaki and I... read more

the food and atmosphere was so good , we returned a second time . we would have returned again for a third time, but our time in Tokyo had expired. The chefs are fabulous , and made us feel very welcome. They possess a wonderful sense of fun which adds to their skill as chefs........ this is MUST do restaurant.... More

This restaurant is truly excellent! Great selection of Teppanyaki, very nice starters (the shrimps and mushrooms were excellent) and good selection of drinks (from cocktails at 500yen to local beers, wine and sake) The chefs cook great food and always talk to the customers which is very cool. If I was living in Tokyo this will become my favorite restaurant... More

This place in Ropongi is defitnetly worth a visit. Try to get a atable at the bar and you'll be in for a treat. Pick something from the English recommedation menu and ask for advice when you're in doubt. The chef's special is one thing you should try

These guys had the Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki. Haven't sen this apart from in Hiroshima. So good and worth the trip alone. Run by a few young guys who have fun whilst serving great food. The beer glasses were icy cold. Look for the plastic mannequins out the front.

Okonomiyaki are large, layered pancakes that can be cooked with a range of meat, fish, vegetable ingredients. Gottsui staff prepare them before you (if you sit at counter) - with passion and precision. There are other good options on menu (soba, salads etc..) if pancakes are not your thing . The place was crammed and was full of people having... More

This is a nice friendly okonomiyaki place near Roppongi hills and Tokyo midtown. Sitting at the bar and watching them cook your food is pretty good (or there are booths with a hot plate). I had some good okonomiyaki (Japanese style pancake) and my other half had yakisoba (noodles cooked on the hot plate). We had a couple of sides... More
