Delicious beef with reasonable price

My office is locating nearby so I frequently visits 511 for a couple of years...for lunch. Lunch menus are very good cost performance! You can enjoy bubble soy sauce (awa joyu) for lunch steak around JP1,800!

The food was exquisite and the service even better. Cheerful, informed, wonderfully polite and extremely helpful. And excellent English. Thoroughly recommended.

We booked relatively last minute by phoning the restaurant directly. We had no problems making the reservation and the member of staff we spoke to had an excellent grasp of English. The food was interesting and very tasty. The staff were attentive and not overbearing. Fussy me doesn't like wine, so after some discussion, the staff provided vodka and peach... More

My husband and I decided to splurge for my birthday meal and it was well worth it! Easy to make a reservation online and it was nice to see the menu ahead of time. Easy to find and it's a beautiful Western style restaurant. We ordered the Japanese and Western set menus. It was a great way to try a... More

It was relatively easy to book. I booked online, but later on during my holiday, I had to make a few changes to the reservation. Calling the restaurant to make the booking changes in english was relatively easy and straight forward. My friends and I were a little late in getting to the restaurant as the restaurant is quite hidden.... More

The quality of the beef and the service is 10 to 10. The beef is melting in your mouth, so juicy. They use the high quality kobe beef which is A5 grade with BMS11. That's why the restaurant named 511. By that time I came to the restaurant, I tried the beef with BMS12, it's the highest grade, which is... More

Highest quality Kobe beef can be tasted in this restaurant whose service is outstanding. Quite rooms for small groups. True, it is a bit over-priced, but worth it as one off.

The service at 511 was amongst the best ive ever had. From being welcomed at the door by name to the most attentive wait staff making sure your every need is met; they definetely go above and beyond. The kobe beef definitely lived up to the hype. The prime sirloin was so tender it melted in my mouth. If I... More

Four of enjoyed a great dinner here. My friend reserved a time prior to our trip, and we were able to find the place without too many issues (it's a bit on it's own in a quiet part of the street). As others have mentioned we were greeted enthusiastically by all staff, with plenty of bowing! Staff spoke good English,... More

After seeing and eating various beef in countries such as Australia, New Zealand and even Amsterdam this meat was on a different scale. Prior to arriving I did my research on kobe beef to find out a things before i indulged: -Authentic kobe beef is only available in Japan and in Macao. -Comes from an isolated breed the Japanese Black...
