This cliched statement is thrown about a bit, but i truly mean it for the beef served in 511. It was so amazing!! We had the taster menu, Japanese style, and every dish was very good. The beef was always cooked perfectly, and the waiters and waitresses spoke fantastic english and were very helpful. Definitely come back here, well worth... More

For Europeans, having that first Kobe beef experience is a fantastic experience ! Service is very smart and products are globaly high end, as well as the prices on the note ... But we really enjoyed being there and taste the best beef of the world.

For the price we paid, the meat got to be top notch and it wasn't disappointing! Based on reviewers' feedback, we only came here focusing on the Kobe beef and that's all we ordered - "a la carte" w/o opting for the course menu. We also ordered the foie gras appetizer and the Kobe beef jerky and we thought we... More

I brought my wife there for a romantic dinner during our honeymoon. First, the staff and service is excellent and they give detailed information about the food that you're given. Second, the food is decent but not great and the Kobe beef is hidden behind lots of other ingredients. Out of the 9 dishes, three didn't contain Kobe beef and... More

Although maybe a little on the pricey side, worth every penny. We enjoyed the 8 course menu which consists of small but excellent dishes from soup, seafood, not to mention the mouth watering beef that just melts on your mouth. I didn't want the meal to end it was just fantastic & nice touch to offer a complimentary drink with... More

Kobe beef kaiseki is on an unassuming street, with a gorgeous entryway. Some people said it was tough to find, but google maps got us there without a problem. We were greeted at the door, and shown to a very luxurious booth. My husband and i got the western style 5 course meal. Our first course was a veggie dish,... More

We chose the Japanese menu consisting of 9 dishes all with Kobe beef one way or another. The waitress informed us in good English of what we were being served. Definitely the place to go to try Kobe beef! We even got a goodbye gift from the restaurant - noodles to cook at home!

One of the best meals I have ever had. We decided to visit 511 on our last night in Tokyo. We wanted to make sure that we went to a restaurant that had authentic Kobe beef and this one had some great reviews. We got there around 9:15 pm and they were very welcoming. We decided to go a la... More

Let's cut to the chase: Excellent service. Amazing meat. Great ambience. Great sake. Conclusion: pricey 100$+ but definitely worth it.

Me and my husband tried this restaurant after the trip advisor suggestion and it was a marvellous ecperience. The restaurant is not very easy to find and we were a little lost at first, but it was deffinetly worthwhile! We tried the two tasting menu (the japanese and european style menue) - they are quite diferent but very interesting experiences.... More
