Great burger and decent bottle of wine

Fancied a change from the local fayre so tried a burger and a bottle of American Sauvignon Blanc. Thoroughly enjoyed both.

It is really hard to find American style sandwiches in Tokyo. Vashon is one of very, very few that hit the mark. Thick slices of turkey, bacon, and avocado (turkey clubhouse sandwich) make up a very filling sandwich.

This is on the main road between the huge Hamamatsu-Cho train station and the attractions of Zinjo-ji Temple and Tokyo Tower. It is small and unpretentious but delivers what it says it does - a good selection of beers as well as Seattle's Best Coffee - and a smallish selection of food - which is enough when you fancy ribs... We are from Seattle, and frequent the Pike Market. We walked by this and decided to give it a try. I am glad we did! Food was EXCELLENT! We ordered the fish and chips, nachos and Mexican Burger. Everything was as great. The food was better than some of the food we get back home in the real Pike Market.... More

We visited here on 3 occasions during our stay in Tokyo. The staff were very welcoming ,there is a happy hour for drinks in the early evening. The food is simple, burgers, a fish dish and a pasta dish but of excellent quality.

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
