London although a first class city for food has never offered high quality sushi except at very, very, high prices. Tokyo offers an incredible range of sushi choices. Our hotel suggested that we need to spend $400 per couple to really be happy. Boy were they wrong. Sushi no Midori has fabulous sushi and spending $100 per couple will give... More

We found this place on Tripadvisor and we glad we decided to give it a try. The fish is very fresh, which makes the dishes (sushi and rolls) just wonderful. The cooks work in front of the guests - efficient, concentrated and polite. We ate much more than we had initially planned - simply couldn't help but continue to enjoy... More

After five years and a 6 year expatriation period in Tokyo, we came back to Tokyo for holiday and visiting our friends. During our stay we went twice to our Midori sushi, near Ginza. Sushis are excellent (at least for a non-Japanese) and not too expensive. We also ate twice in Zanmai sushi in Ginza, but we found it quality... More

This is a "sushi chain", there are several throuout tokyo. There are set menus and also sushi by the piece, the prices are reasonable and the sushi is wonderful. there's always a line but ihe waiting is never too long. This is a Non smoking restaurant which is hard to come by in Japan

During our 8 nights in Tokyo, we actually ate here 3 times ..it was that good! We never had to wait, always sat at the counter where we could watch the chefs in action. And we could point to what we want. Tried all kinds of sushi and sashimi - incrediby fresh! And at half the price we would pay... More

I eat a lot of sushi. I ate a few sushi meals in Japan on my recent trip that were disappointing. Sushi no Midori was the exact opposite! The sushi is excellent...I enjoyed every piece of it. And not expensive at all considering sushi prices in Tokyo. For $45, I got a toro platter (that included o-toro), multiple pieces of... More

Very good. Reminds me of the smaller places in Los Angeles. Very cheap for Tokyo. It was a very long wait, but other reviewers had warned us.

I came here because we are staying at a hotel 5 minutes away. Good solid sushi...I would not go overboard on heaping praises but it was fresh, cheap, and nicely prepared. The service was ok. It was a bit busy because it was lunch time. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the atrium which is adjacent to... More

Came here after reading the very helpful reviews. Getting off at Akasaka station on the Chiyoda line leads you right into the Biz tower. Checking the restaurant board, we found the restaurant's name in Kangei/Chinese characters so we found the restaurant easily on the 2nd floor. The line outside could have told us we were at the right place though.... More

I followed rule 1 for picking a restaurant in a foreign country which is go where you see the most locals. I tried the tuna platter which came with eight large pieces of tuna sushi, miso soup, and an appetizer. The wait was about 15 minutes at 530 PM on a Saturday. It was the best sushi I've ever had....
