I recommend Midori sushi

The quality is reasonably good for the price. The head restaurant is in Umegaoka. I have been to Umegaoka and Futagotamagawa. I recommend Futagotamagawa if you'd like to enjoy shopping. The menu is very healthy and the sushi is tasty. I go on a regular basic.

Arrived at 9pm and made it just in time for the best sushi meal ever (they close at 10pm). I eat a lot of sushi in Singapore, had a fair share in Tokyo as well, but this is way better than the rest. For 2,000 yen, you get all these pieces of sushi, all gigantic slices with a small bit... More

Arrived at 730pm and were fourth on the list. But because we were a party of four, we had to wait 40 minutes to get a table (quite a few couples who arrived later got in before we did) - but it was well worth the wait. Excellent food and great value.

Go at the opening time to avoid waiting for hours. Good sushi and rolls, good salads. You can ask for miso soup as much you like.

We need to wait for almost 2.5 hour to ginally enjoy this restaurant. Fresh and original sushi, oishi! Order the house speciality sushi mackarel and salmon roe. The miso soup is yummy. Most of all the sushi are delicious. Would come again.

We just finished celebrating New Year's Eve with sushi at Umegaoka. This was by far the best value I've had for sushi in a long time. And don't be fooled by the term "value". This was first rate sushi. I highly recommend it. We all enjoyed every piece! It is worth the wait in the queue. The service was great.... More

First of all be prepared to wait, we didn't adequately understand how long the lines would be, it took about 2 hours to get a table. If you ask them when you arrive they can tell you a timeframe since the ticket machine doesnt articulate that. We walked around the various shops and had a beer while we waited. Once... More

A few friends and I were looking for a reasonably priced and delicious sushi meal and we found it here. It is in the Akasaka Biz Tower right above Akasaka station so very convenient to get to. Between the four of us, we had 3 8-piece rolls, a platter of tuna (lean to extra fatty), and 6 or so nigiri.... More

This is a great place to get your fill of traditional sushi and sashimi. The ingredients are sourced daily from the Tokyo fish market and are expertly put together by a great group of chefs. Counter or table with beer or saki to accompany the food. The dishes are reasonably priced and the service is efficient. Definitely worth a visit

A colleague who lives nearby called this her favorite sushi restaurant and I can see why. I can also see why there's usually a wait. I had the sushi platter which featured several different kinds of tuna. Never have I had such large pieces of tuna on each piece of sushi. Good quality, fair price, especially given the upscale business... More
