Nearly French but not quite

Good food and wine but not really Michelin standard. Good view from a high floor in the Park Hotel, worth a visit.

This is a hard one for me to review, as it would be 4.5 stars, but obviously thats not an option whilst I am writing this as Trip advisor allows either 4 star or 5 star. We dined here for New Years Eve 2015 as we were staying in the Hotel (Park Hotel) and I had booked this weeks in... More

My husband and I decided to stay in and try out this restaurant. We did call and make a reservation just on the off chance it was full - we felt better as there were no free tables when we got there at 730!! We went for the set menu.... Choice of 5-6 entree and mains also choice of deserts.... More

Well, a little spoilt as was already staying in my favourite hotel in Tokyo and not wanting to venture too far prior to important meeting the following morning, decided to stay IN (this despite the inner-child wanting to go OUT). The writer (aka the inner-child) was not disappointed. A nice little pate with toast and beautiful bread followed by my... More

We eat here whilst we were staying at the Park Hotel. We had the table d'hote menu which gave us a good range of choices which we could enjoy in a relaxed atmosphere. It is certainly French but with a pleasing Japanese twist. The restaurant offers good value, although not cheap, and it can be recommended.

The hotel website describes the food as a "Bistronomy" style. It's certainly more relaxed, and cheaper than when we last dined here a few years ago, but the presentation, taste, and life, of each course is just as good. The flavour is definitely French, but the presentation, the colour, the delicateness, and the freshness and definitely Japanese. This restaurant offers... More

Stayed at the Park Hotel Tokyo 4 nights as part of longer Asia trip, traveling solo. Decided to cap my Tokyo visit with a sushi dinner @ the restaurant after a long day of touring. Went to give them my name and the first they did was put out the sign that no more seats were available. When I told... More

This restaurant is in the lobby of the Park Hotel Tokyo and really serves outstanding food. I ordered the standard set menu and was treated to a parade of appetizers including monkfish, white asparagus, and one of the best dishes of grilled vegetabes I've ever had. A lamb chop smoked with Japanese grass was perfect. In general the meal had... More

Within the cool confines of the hip Park Hotel my partner and I decided to spoil ourselves at our first Michelin Starred restaurant. From our greeting at front of house to being seated, our evening was faultless. We chose the Chefs menu of 9 courses which was just exquisite! Attention to detail from the whole waiting team to beautifully presented... More

We were staying at Park Hotel and being lazy we went for the French restaurant ... I am French and may be difficult when it comes about food.. But we loved it and returned. The Monet salad is an anthology moment! Bravo and I am booking for a visit to his restaurant in Paris...

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
