Really good sushi!

We agree with the earlier reviews! The sushi at Pintokona is super fresh, very tasty and really good value. It's a sushi train place but almost everything is being made right in front of you as you order. We had the lunch time special, which was a board full of delicious nigiri for about $12AUD... read more

Great sushi at a pretty reasonable price is not all that easy to come by in Tokyo. But you get it here! Sitting at the bar you can pick your favorite off the conveyor belt or shout out your request to the chef! You can order some other dishes...the tempura was lightly fried and quite nice. But the sushi is... More

I have to say it was a wonderful sushi experience. Made all the more special because we just walked into the restaurant, without anyone's recommendation. English menu, carrousel sushi. Spanking fresh cuts of beautiful fish, melting in our mouths. $15USD/head, and no tips needed, as in all of Japan! WOW!

We first got turned on to conveyor belt sushi in Sapporo - as one of the top rated restaurants in the city offered this style. We really liked the ability to pick and choose what we wanted without having to deal with menus - at our own pace. Pintokona offers a similar experience in Roppongi (it's in the basement of... More

Located in the plush area of Roppongi, this sushi restaurant serves its sushi in carrousel. The price of sushi range fro 160 yen to more than 1000 yen depending on the color of the plates. Green tea is free. There is also additional order for other Japanese food. The two chef can be seen preparing their sushi. The sushi were... More

This was a wonderful modern and very satisfying sushi experience. The sushi was superb and it was fun to sit at the bar near the sushi chefs. Though kaiten style (conveyor belt) the sushi chef was involved and attentive. Very reasonably priced as well. $20 per person at lunch including sake.

Word is fun in this place. Sushi itself did not blow my mind, but was ok. Total price of the meal is counted by waitress scanning the plates; different colour the plate, different the price. Good price-quality ratio as in the end the meal was very affordable.

This is a conveyor belt sushi bar located in the basement level of the Metrohat building. Decent prices but the quality was just average. We have had better sushi back in the states. Maybe they were having a bad night, but we didn't think it was anything special. Staff were proficient in English.
