Good Indian Lunch

From Indian standard food was average. However, they might have customised for local people. They serve buffet during lunch. They were playing very light south Indian music. Ambiance was nice. Had a damn fine meal here this week. And, will definitely be going again. Food: Probably the best Indian I've had in Tokyo. It doesn't seem to have been watered down for the locals' tastes. We had the Masala Dosa and two samosas as an entree. The Dosa was huge. The samosas were served with a sauce that reminded me... More

The buffet during lunch is very good and at a very reasonable price. The items are limited but considering this is in Japan business district it is a great deal. The taste is nearly authentic indian. The dinner is alacarte. The price is bit high but the taste is very good. The quantity of the food can be more. So... More

Some of reviewers have commented that there would be Indian restaurants who serve dishes more tasty. It might be possible. But, for my tongue, I dare to say that this restaurant offering Southern Indian recipes is one of the top class ones in Tokyo. It's proven that you can see tables are occupied by Indian natives so often. They prepare... More

A little restaurant you could quite easily miss on the second floor. But certainly a delight both to the taste buds and service. Love Indian food and love that special South Indian taste, they have dosai and rasam and the chief waiter is Babu!!! Very limited but nice wines that go well with the cuisine

Have had the lunch buffet here a number of times which is very good value for money, they serve a number of different curries and sides, the selection is good and it is all cooked pretty well. However for dinner I think there are many better options around Tokyo. Try and sit outdoors if you can.

We like Japanese food a lot but needed a break so ended up at this Indian joint in the Galleria complex in Rippongi for Sunday lunch. For at least lunch, they do a buffet - about $20 - which is less than most places in Tokyo. We eat Indian a lot un the US and I can't say this was... More

We decided to try this restaurant since it was close to where we were staying, Atago area of Tokyo. The reviews on Trip Advisor were all positive. But i must say we were highly dissappointed. Food is just so-so. We are used to eating all types of indian food including true south indian food, and have eaten at friends homes... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
