Japanese beef never disappoints

Both Kobe and Ibaragi Japanese beef serve at Seryna are excellent. Chefs are so experienced they cook the steaks to perfection. Other dishes served in the course menu, ie. sea bass carpaccio, salad, oyster, abalone, vegetables are all fresh and of high quality. Service is attentive but not... read more

Normally when a restaurant has 60% tourists as diners, disappointment is soon to be at hand. Not here. The prices are insane, but everything was terrific. Top level service. Excellent chefs. Kobe beef was perfection. We ordered a Japanese red wine, which was excellent. The decor is a throw back to the glamorous 70's. They must have spent a fortune... More

Been there several times in the past few months, service was always unbeatable. Love watching the chefs preparing garlic and the way they serve onto your plate. The idea of having a big round centre cooking area was excellent, every guest feels the excitement of food being prepared and yet not being disturbed by other guests. The dessert area was... More

I would describe this place as the best teppanyaaki restaurant i have been to in the world!!! Exceptional selection, professional chefs and a nice quaint ambiance as well. The food was just superb. A must visit for teppanyaki lovers.

The staff at the Ritz Carlton suggested we try this, nearby, restaurant. Initially, the prix fixe prices seem OK, but if you want a decent wine, then I hope you are prepared to pay dearly. In addition, if you wish to add a course of vegitables to accompany you meal, do not br deceived by the menu pricing of 800... More

Great restaurant, everything is orchestrated, like an Opera, different movements and the Chef holding the stick in front of you. ++ Kobe beef and Lobster.

We chose a set menu which included appetisers, prawns, scallops and steak. The appetisers, which included a delicious crab croquette, provided a perfect prelude to the main courses. Our 10-year-old daughter was a bit disconcerted to see that the prawns were still alive when they were put on the grill, but they tasted wonderful. As for the steak, we all... More

How Teppan Yaki should be done. From the reception we received to the style, to the food, to the fact the bar keeper ran after me down the street to return the phone I had left behind, everything about this place is perfect.
