The place is run by and according to the Jiro family traditions; it is small only for 8 people at one sitting. The sushi and sashimi served are very good quality indeed. The service is from behind the counter and friendly. The only drawback is the fact that ı have the experience of sushi tasting class instead of a restaurant... More

I went to Sushi places all over the world before I came the first time to Japan. After visiting premium Sushi places in Tokyo I was spoiled for the rest of my life. Now there are good reasons to not be 150% not fully satisfied with this place but only if you compare it to some other premium places in... More

From the moment you step in, you are greeted with a warm welcome. As we were the first to arrive and slightly early, we were given some tea and sat down at a table as we waited. There is no music and the place is small, however you do not come here to enjoy the atmosphere but rather the food... More

This was such an interesting experience. Awesome food, interesting venue (tiny place, only room for 7 guests). Will return, recommend it to everyone!

Remarkable, memorable sushi experience. It's expensive (£160 a head), but then you're eating some of the rarest, finest ingredients in the world, prepared by some of the most talented, staggeringly technically skilled chefs in the world - that is going to cost a bit of money. I wanted to go to Jiro senior having seen the documentary but despite following... More

I'm not used to spending $200 for food, but this was Jiro's son. We ate for an hour and they were really professional. I was afraid to offend people. Use chopsticks horizontally to pick up the sushi and not vertically (as you may break it). Two westerners to the left and two locals to the right. My friend said you're... More

I love sushi food and was visiting Japan and had a few hundred spare so decided to pay this place a visit. After asking a few locals where to go we eventually found it. The place was not busy but not empty. The service was quick and the food was divine. Although there was some problems with the order but... More

I went to this restaurant only because his father's was not available and they were one of the only ones who accepted a walk in reservation instead of one through a hotel concierge. that part of the service i really appreciate. As for the food, no doubt it was one of the best sushi I had however I am not... More

We booked this restaurant via our concierge at the hotel and requested that we have no shell fish due to our dietary requirements. This was not adhered to and chefs became frustrated due to our request. We were 5 minutes late and were greeted in an unfriendly manner and were not even permitted to visit the bathroom. Not a great... More
