Wonderful food and seevice

Booked dinner more than a month ago. The service and food were both of top quality. Despite the Japanese setting, the dishes were with a modern taste. A shame that a once great place has lost its soul and starts to do fake Kaiseki for non Japanese, the chef does not even have the guts to listen and the staff does not care, how can Michelin give ant stars at all- it is a shamr

Food is a delightful adventure - brilliantly blended flavours and textures and colours - a symphony of experiences in small beautiful dishes made from finest porcelain through to rough hewn pottery reflecting the food and its source in nature. We loved the dish with what looked like the Harbour bridge on it - a lovely touch as we come from... More

One of my best dinner ever. Maximum quality and maximum service for one of the best traditional (but original at the same time) Japanese restaurant. The waitress in chief (manager) is an authentic phenomenon and she will describe every dish (16 traditional course menu) you will eat. To try absolutely, very expensive 30,000 yen wine included each.

Along with Sukiyabashi Jiro, Ryugin is a must-see in Tokyo. Kaiseki cuisine at this restaurant reaches the highest level possible. The restaurant is small and the tables rather close. The service is excellent, elegant and helpful. The food is a synthesis of extremely refined Japanese taste and Western techniques, as the molecular cuisine. Sea Urchins with fried alga nori and... The staff noticed i was left hand before we ate or held the chopsticks so she moved and allocated everything to me left side.. i didnt realised till i noticed... More

By far , a heavy weight in the game , by all accounts it truly earns its 3* Michelin Every dish is a lesson , it's simple yet complex, The chef respects his ingredients and it respects him back Everything is sourced with premium selection , it is an unforgettable and yet to be challenged experience I'll do more injustice... I had some memorable dish like the roasted fugu shirako and the sake soufflé . Some other was not of my taste, but this is a personal opinion. Standard are in place, service as well! Very good wines and sake pairing.

3 Michelin Stars Really !!! My faith in the Michelin guide rating system has been severely stretched on this one, as it rapidly approaches the same status/use as Zagat that of 'Telephone Directory' only. Reservations & reconfirmations were made easily enough, at which both times we were repeatedly advised of a strict no perfume/cologne policy & smart dress code... fair... More

Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants, bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.
