Superb location in a mock French chateau. Level of service generally very good, we had the 23000 yen tasting menu which was superb, the meat and the bream amongst the best I have ever tasted. Word of warning, do not get watching wines with the tasting menu at this restaurant as you might elsewhere as this appears to be a... More

This is my 2nd time at Robochon, my 1st being at Macau. The service is just as good! Being small eaters, we chose the 3 course lunch with appetizer, main course and dessert. The food was more than adequate, tasted great and was really value for money. The wait staff starting from reception to dining were very attentive to us... More

The restaurant is locate in the beautiful Yebisu Garden place and easily accessible. My partner and I loved our dining experience at this beautiful restaurant in Tokyo - Chateau Restaurant Joël Robuchon. We dined here for lunch to celebrate a special occasion and can truly say that it was an incredible experience. We selected the 8 course Menu Plaisir which... More

We couldn't get into Joel's Vegas place but we got into this one here in Tokyo. We love good french food and this was very good. We selected the middle "Chefs Recommendation" menu and I was not disappointed. Service was there - 8/10 would have been 10/10 but started to become less attentive at the end (and you should always... Was not sure about the place as we are talking about Joel Robuchon, known for his fantastic gourmet menu but also highly priced, yet, have been pleasantly surprised as the menu was affordable, $65 for a 3 courses menu, $100 for a nice bottle of wine. Being in Tokyo, I was expecting much costly experience, so very pleased indeed. The... More

We ate here last Sunday. This restaurant is set in a beautiful building, the dining room is grand and impressive and the staff are attentive without being stuffy. If you choose restaurants on the basis of these criteria alone, this is the one for you. Do not come, however, for the food. Tokyo has a dazzling array of outstanding eateries,... More

We've been to Tokyo Robuchon 3 or 4 times for lunch now, and it's the first reservation I make whenever we visit Tokyo (even before hotel reservations!). First and most importantly, book lunch. Lunch is a deal for the level of food and service you get -- you'll see that the low-rating reviews tend to be from dinner, which is... More

Dining here is very expensive (for us!) but it was worth every yen. Every dish in the holiday dinner course was a gastronomical delight. The bread cart had so many choices. They heat the bread before serving them to you. Our waiter explained each dish in English. The service was attentive albeit a little stiff. My husband was very impressed... More

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
