Surprisingly Good

Stumbled upon this place on a very quiet Sunday evening In Ginza but the restaurant was full. Managed a table & were surprised to have very tasty dosa & my friend had a a very tasty Chetinad Chicken curry. My lamb was not so good. They seem to be better at South Indian dishes, so stick to... read more

The food, the decor, the ambience and the service is simply top class!, I should know as I have eaten there once a week for 4 years nearly. The biryani is the killer dish there. The other foods are good too :) The Japanese staff are very friendly besides the one tamilian staff. Great place close to Tokyo station yaesu... More

My Indian co-workers were suffering with the same place every night in Yokohama so we decided to try this place one night. They were very excited and loved it. It also made an Indian food lover out of me. I highly recommend it.

Good food, good service, reasonably priced. Was very busy on a weekday evening with mostly Japanese customers. Walking distance from Tokyo station -use Yaesu south exit. Most items were high class authentic Indian food- we had only vegetarian food.

Was at the door at 9;01p and place say they close at 9:30p. Is this an Indian owner or Japanese owner. Good food but worst attitude. I'm sure there are better places. Place deserves to go out of business. Owner teach your staff manners. I was shocked to see your staff has zero manners

I had dinner from this restaurant when I visited Ginza. On the first appearance It is hard to find a seat in this restaurant because of rush and very limited seats. The ambiance of this hotel is bad for a place like Ginza and for the price paid. Even though it is neat, I feel like sitting in an Indian... More

Visited dhaba for many occasions. I would say one of the best place to eat in Tokyo which us serving original indian food. Ordered biryani few times and was out standing. South indian dishes are good and you feel like you are in India. It is always very crowded so you need to have to wait for 40-45 minutes. Service... More

If you're looking for great Indian food, try Dhaba India. There are a lot of Indian places in Tokyo, but this place delivers on delicious Southern India food. To translate, that means order the dosa. The Northern food can be hit or miss and some of the curries I didn't care for. I've been there over a dozen times and... More

I have absolutely no idea why people have rated this restaurant so high! I have had Indian food in more than a dozen countries and can tell will absolute certainty that this is no where even close to being the best Indian restaurant in Tokyo. That said, no doubt they get an upper hand on the ambiance and their serving... More

Indian food in Japan is too often "curry and nan". As if such a vast and diverse country had only one dish. What a welcome change to find authentic South Indian dishes in Tokyo, starting with masala dosai! But the place has become so popular that it is hard to find a seat. Be prepared for long waits. If you... More
