Aside from the "low spicy" food category being too spicy for my taste, this restaurant is superb. It's often extremely busy so try to get a reservation in way ahead of the day you want to visit. I didn't try anything on the wide-ranging menu I didn't profoundly enjoy. It's not mainstream, but I recommend trying the salted Lassi especially... More

Its the best Indian food I have ever eaten! I go there like every month and I'm always satisfied by the amazing spicy delicious food they serve. No recommended dish because everything is worth it!

I don't know where all the fuss on tripadvisor is coming from. It's OK but not more than that. For everyone who has not been to Japan: There is plenty of Indian restaurants everywhere and Dhaba India quite frankly does NOT stand out of the crowd at all.

Dhaba India serves the best southern Indian food I have ever eaten in Tokyo. Although the menu is quite small each dish is quite unique in flavour and each seems to complement the other dishes. This was certainly the case in the four choices we made quite randomly. The special of the night, lemon rice, was absolutely delicious and complemented... More

Have been to lunch countless times, it is great value and the food is excellent. Make sure you get there early as it gets packed fast and always when we leave there is a line forming outside. There are a few choices for lunch sets, but we generally go with the 3 curry set, where they make a Hot, Medium... More

If there is a better Indian in Tokyo it would be amazing as Dhaba India is already first class, a real Indian experience. The restaruant is decorately beautifully with lots of iconic Indian art and the service is second to none. As for the food, just truly delicious, went for the set meal thali and the selction of dishes were... More

Dhaba India is one of the rare indian restaurants in Tokyo which serve many exclusive South India food. Their Idli, Vada, and Dosa range will make you in love with the South indian flovour. Apart from South India dishes, they got a good menu of North Indian Dishes too. For the spirit lovers they got hand picked Indian brands of... More

Booked in advance, restaurant full when we arrived, service was good and without delay. Tried both set meal and a la carte both good, with a pitcher of beer.

I never go to Dhaba during weekday lunch hours because the place is way too crowded and the menu is a bit limited and its sister North Indian restaurant Khyber is always easier to get into. Weekends the problem can be the same in terms of the crowds, but I'll chance it because the full menu is available. Dinner, reservations... More
