This is my first TA review...and it couldn't start any better. I've been in this restaurant two days ago for dinner, and I can simply say that was a wonderful experience. Relaxing atmosphere, staff very kind and helpful and an attention to the customer that I never found anywhere else. I've been greeted by the owner, mr.Kyubey, and seated in... More

This is not sushi. This a spectacle for the eye and your stomach. The restaurant is beautiful and perfectly lit (it looks like something out of a cinema set). The service is extremely friendly. And the food, ah the food, it is divine. They don't accept reservations for peak lunch and dinner times but we shouwed up for lunch at... More

Visiting Kyubei was an amazing experience. From the moment you arrive, they attend to you, without the inconvenient trappings of a restaurant gunning for stars. We let the chef decide the menu, and everything we received was delicious. After the first nigiri, they ask you if you like the amount of rice and wasabi. Of course, it was great as... More

Kyubei in Ginza is an upmarket sushi restaurant serving the freshest sushi. We left it to the sushi chef to decide our menu and as a result we enjoyed fatty maguro, live prawns, sea eels, squids etc. I don't really enjoy sushi but Kyubei introduces a different class of sushi experience. The ambience is very cheerful as you can interact... More

The chef, owner, and servers were very nice and accommodating. The service was excellent and the sushi was the best I've ever had. Types of fish that I've normally had such as eel and mackerel tasted so much better here. The flavor blew me away. I would highly recommend this although is expensive.

Beautiful interior and super attentive kimono clad hostesses, fantastic fresh food beautifully presented and served with panache. Even though I was dining alone, the fellow diners and the chef were very nice and kept me company so it felt I was attending a fabulous dinner party. This place is rather expensive but considering this a top notch restaurant in Ginza,... More

Visited the branch at new otani hotel. If you enjoy food this will be one happy special moment in life. Sushi chef freshly makes your sushi lunch piece by piece, according to your eating pace. There will always be only one piece in front of you. Perfectly prepared sushi rice and premium grade toro and other fishes. Ordered the basic... More

I was in Japan for business, and a little bit of pleasure, staying in the Ginza district. Thursday night, after I got back to my hotel from the office, I started looking for a nice place to eat. Which is not too difficult from one perspective – there are about 1,000 restaurants within a stone’s throw of the hotel, and... More

I went for omakase and had very good quality sushi. The hotel concierge who made our reservation told them it was our honeymoon and they gave us a free bottle of champagne. The staff and chef were very friendly.
