Beautiful interior and super attentive kimono clad hostesses, fantastic fresh food beautifully presented and served with panache. Even though I was dining alone, the fellow diners and the chef were very nice and kept me company so it felt I was attending a fabulous dinner party. This place is rather expensive but considering this a top notch restaurant in Ginza,... More

Visited the branch at new otani hotel. If you enjoy food this will be one happy special moment in life. Sushi chef freshly makes your sushi lunch piece by piece, according to your eating pace. There will always be only one piece in front of you. Perfectly prepared sushi rice and premium grade toro and other fishes. Ordered the basic... More

I was in Japan for business, and a little bit of pleasure, staying in the Ginza district. Thursday night, after I got back to my hotel from the office, I started looking for a nice place to eat. Which is not too difficult from one perspective – there are about 1,000 restaurants within a stone’s throw of the hotel, and... More

I went for omakase and had very good quality sushi. The hotel concierge who made our reservation told them it was our honeymoon and they gave us a free bottle of champagne. The staff and chef were very friendly.

Sometimes you have to be willing to pay to enjoy something exceptional. Sushi in Australia and the US is almost equivalent to fast food. And you can certainly get mediocre sushi in Tokyo as well. But some time in your life you should taste the real thing which is only obtainable from a Japanese trained chef. What you receive at... More

This place in a beautiful part of Ginza is just amazing as I've read online. It needs to be reserved weeks in advance (they speak basic english). I want to clear up things about prices, since I've read wrong informations in other reviews: Price for Omakase at dinner (means menu decided by the chef): 15000 yen for 12 nighiri (150... More

Simply the best sushi anywhere, served by a friendly and attentive staff. We are from the US and don't speak Japanese, and had a picky 11 year old who is only slowly discovering sushi. Everyone made us feel welcomed and special. The only downside is that I will now never enjoy other sushi restaurants in the US as much as... More
