There are quite a few Itadori branches around the Tsukiji market area. I came across the Higashi branch first and that's it. Ordered the 元祖海鮮ひつまぶし, it was divine! And there's no queue...

Came across this after long morning walking around the fishmarkets - and craving some sushi - I was not disappointed. Great sushi - interesting location - all good. Photos included

After visiting the Tsukiji market we were looking for a sushi place to have a few pieces of o-toro (fatty tuna). The few places direct in the market being awfully crowded, we went back outside and browsed in the outer market until, in a little back alley, we found the Itadori sushi parlour. This 12 people place, directly in the... More

Tsukiji Itadori operates several establishments in the Tsukiji Fish Market. This particular we ate was a sushi counter in a small middle alley that seated about 12 people. All seafood served came from the market; and, it ran by a father and a son team. They were great and hospitable. We ordered one of the mid priced sushi set (price... More

We stumbled on this counter wandering through the back alleys of Tsukiji. We were not disappointed. Sushi was fresh and tasty, although not the transcendent experience of the iconic sushi places. There again, we did not wait, paid 10% of the price of other places and, frankly, I am not sure I could see a big difference in taste. The... More

We were brought here by our guide, not her first choice, but many of the other sushi places had long lines and we were running out of time. This place was a little more expensive than some of the other sushi places but we were happy to try. We were not disappointed. The freshly prepared nigiri were beautifully presented and... More

The place might not look fancy for some people but it is certainly a good place to go with your friends. It is nice and cozy. The food was really good. We couldn't stop eating :)

Not amazing sushi by any means, but it's good sushi at an excellent price. The complimentary miso soup was excellent, and had crab with decent chunks of meat in it, making it even better in taste and value.

This place was recommended to me by my girlfriend who lives in Tokyo. The food exceeded my expectations. It is in the heart of world famous Tsukiji fish market so the setting can't be more apt-it has a right feel of modern and traditional, formal and informal. If you visit Tsukiji Market do have your meat at It a dorky... More
