Largest freshest sushi

Warm rice, giant fish slices. Be prepared to taje a number in line and go hang out 2-3 hours. Better to take tables in denomination of 2 people for faster line.

The sushi here is average at best and certainly not worth the long wait time. We gave up the first time after an hour and the second time, the wait was nearly 4 hours (we took a queue number at 4pm and were seated just before 8pm), Of course we did not wait outside the restaurant, we went shopping and... I learned about this place through Trip Advisor and the visit was absolutely worth it. The quality of the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. The downside is that you have to wait a long time, but you can plan your visit and do something else in the area while you are waiting for a table. Highly... More

Brought to this place as recommended by a friends. When arrive at 5 pm , there has been a long queue already. And with such a long queue the food must be good. True enough one of the best shushi and shashimi I has Iever. Dishes freshly prepared. By the time I finished at 8 pm the queue even longer.... More

Previous TA reviews have got it covered. My take: 1. seriously, come early or bring a magazine while you wait; 2. secure a counter seat to watch the chefs in action; 3. chefs manage some English and engage customers so don't avoid eye contact; 4. opt either for the aptly named "ultimate" or "seasonal" sushi platter - at ¥2,000 each.... Got a special table right in front of the sushi chefs- they were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We asked for recommendations and they were perfect! The fatty tuna was delicious. I would suggest taking the chefs recommendations because they truly are experienced and they know what's the most popular on the menu. But prepared to pay more because you're paying... More

Arrived at 10.30 for 11.00 lunch opening time, having been warned that there is always a healthy queue at this place. There were about 15 people in front of us when we got there, so we got a seat at the counter as soon as the restaurant opened, and by that time the queue had grown to about 90 people.... More

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic.
