With a glance you can tell that this restaurant is a professional at making sushi. The fish you order are all fresh and savoury. Each sushi they make has a big slice of fish, almost twice as long as one you get in supermarket! All of this come with a fair price. You can choose to sit in counter where... More

Really good, really cheap (by Tokyo standards). Close enough to the fish market to know you're chowing down on some of the freshest cuts of fish. Having eaten Sushi all over, this was a great place to lose my Japanese sushi virginity. The queue was tolerable, perhaps because of the time of day, and the fact it was raining, but... More

We are in Japan for 2 weeks now, having tested many Japanese restaurants. I gotta say this was one of the best, if we talk quality and price. Sure, this one is not intimate...not typical small 10-15 places Japanese restaurant, but considering the prices (really affordable !!!), I guess I can live with it). Bear in mind that I care... More

Sushi Midori is a chain of sushi restaurants in the Tokyo area. Their business model is fascinating. Effectively they are running a high volume, low margin business. By providing VERY high quality sushi and sashimi. At rock bottom prices. Yet by having a policy of NO reservations. And encouraging high throughput through their stores, they have become a real success.... More

As expected we got some queue in front of the restaurant when we arrive on a Sunday around 8.10pm, but even though they told us that last order was at 8.30pm, we still could make it inside and order after that time (8.35pm). We found the sizes of sushi served very big but at the same time of a good... More

I walked past this restaurant multiple times on the way to meetings. Every time a line of local waiting. Finally committed and it was wort it. Line moves fast. Food great and atmosphere outstanding. Great price as well. Do it

This is one Sushi corner which even the locals probably prefer to eat at. That’s a good thing because you get to interact with local folks who can guide you with the food. The queue was a pretty long one and it took me an odd 1 hour 30 minutes to reach the counter. It was worth it though. The... More

Have been visiting this sushi restaurant everytime I was in Tokyo. Just s short walk from Chou Dori. You have to queue in lines to get into the restaurant. Simply the best sushi. in January 2014 I had to wait for 30 minutes outside at temperature nearby 0 but it worth the wait. Will visit again when in Tokyo. Pricewise... More

In the course of a 4-day business trip to Tokyo, I made sure I would eat at this place twice. Why? Because the first time was a transcendent sushi experience. The second time matched it exactly. I had visited the Shibuya branch of Umegaoka Sushino Midori the first time I visited this fabulous city, so when I discovered - via... More
