We tried several times to locate Andy`s. They only accept telephone reservations but we emailed enquiring and were given directions and an early slot. The place was already busy at 5.30pm on a Friday evening. It is a really fantastic place. Long shared tables and ever attentive Andy to recommend your supper. Best tempura prawns we have tasted. Do go!

Our group of 6 had diner at Andy's during our trip in Tokyo and it was devine! We didn't order from the menu but let Andy serve us his best dishes. By far the best Japanese food I ever ate! And very good value for money. Including a night full of drinks and food we paid 5000 yen pp. I... More

We had been recommended Andy's Shin and were very pleased we went. The atmosphere was amazing, it was packed, and it was great to have an English menu and people who could explain it. We love Japanese food but like lots of Brits are unfortunately rather sanitised in our food choices, and bream head or cod sperm don't necessarily appeal!... More

Even though it is a very popular eating spot for foreigners and locals in the heart of Tokyo due to the so-called freshness of the fish, shellfish and veggies they serve, I must say I did not have a good experience the first and last time I went to. No doubt the food may be fresh but the way how... More

We went to this restaurant in March 2013. This was a solid restaurant experience. The food and drinks that we have ordered have all been excellent. Enjoyed it and would recommend it.

Saw the other reviews and couldn't resist. EVERYTHING its cracked up to be. I NEVER write reviews (too lazy) but I have to say this place is totally worth it. Definitely a whole in the wall but great character and fantastic food. We sat downstairs which is mostly smoking area but it didn't bother us. We gorged on King Crab... More

I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. It's the sort of hole-in-the-wall (actually, hole-in-the-roof, right up under the train tracks) you would walk past and not even notice. Don't do that. The food is impeccable, very fresh and simply prepared. Order whatever fish is being served when you arrive. And order seconds because you will want them. We paid far... More

We were taken to this restaurant twice. Andy makes a great host and the food is excellent quality and value. The menu is very extensive and we just kept asking for recommendations and asking the servers for dishes we saw being delivered to other tables. Beer, Sake and Sochu (Andy's own brand) is all good value for Tokyo. The atmosphere... More

The best sashimi I've had in Tokyo (yes, better than the places around Tsukiji market) with the huge advantage of being able to ask what fish was in season, what is recommended, as well as getting a presentation of what fish i was eating, where it had been caught, etc. The location is just south of the Yurakucho station, under... Just returned from a boys long weekend to Tokyo with a mate and Andy's had been recommended to us. We booked (which is essential on +81 33214 8021) and were delighted with the evening. We arrived not knowing what to expect and found it on two floors under the railway arches. We ventured inside and were met by Andy, a... More
