Good pizza and simple pasta

We had lunch here after visiting the Imperial East Garden. Their pizza was good, and the squid-ink pasta was good enough we ordered a second dish. The price quality ratio was high, but this was the high-end district of Marunouchi area after all.

I was pleased to stumble across A16, not knowing there was one in Tokyo and having never been to the San Francisco original. It's a nice, typical Italian Pizza restaurant with nice woods and great fiery pizza ovens that form a showpiece. The menu was interesting. Of course I had pizza, as I felt I couldn't go wrong. I ordered... More

We waited nearly an hour for two seats to have lunch. It is very packed and most of the restaurants around there are crowded as well. We ordered set lunches. It was either pizza or potato knocci. Both was good. It came with salads and pound cakes with drinks. I dont know whether i would recommend as jt seems to... More

A16 is located in the very pretty Marunouchi brick square, which adds a "european" touch to the overall experience. The place is nicely furnished and offers good dishes and cozy atmosphere. Quite busy, but just add your name on the waiting list and sit outside to enjoy Brick Square plaza, a waiter will come calling your name (****-san). Pizza is... More

This is a simple, rustic spot, but one that exudes a lot of charm. The pizzas are great and the staff is fairly attentive. This is a great spot for an easy lunch, and if the weather is nice, sit outside and enjoy the people watching.

The food was tasty and the service was exceptional. The menu was a bit limited, however terribly expensive. I had the Octopus stew and it was divine. I did not like the beans too much garlic. The white fish was not too bad, a bit overcooked. The atmosphere was pleasant, disco type music played in the background as we ate,... More

Was it the best pizza I have had, no. Was is still pretty good, yes. I had this great server by the name of Yuri (Russian) who could converse in multiple languages. The pizza was more than one person could comfortably eat after an appetizer. I had the duck terrine, as you could sell me on anything duck, and it... More

Tokyo is full of awesome Italian restaurants, so much so that I have heard from multiple Italians that the food in Tokyo is better than Italy. Suffice it to say, it is near impossible to go wrong with an Italian restaurant in Tokyo, a16 being the exception. I was somewhat suspicious of the restaurant being half empty at the height... More

some of the best pizza i've had ever was served in this place (we ate at this place twice in a week!). the dough is done to perfection, the tomato sauce is delicious.. the only thing is lack of variety (especially that they're shy with the cheese here). service was excellent, and for japan, the prices were ok. if you... This relaxed restaurant is in Brick Sq., a smart little area in this chic business and shopping area tucked behind a low rise gallery in maronuchi. We were sushied out so fancied some pasta. The squid ink fettuccine was delicious, but the portions are tiny by European standards. Green salad was good too. Pizzas were lacking in tomato sauce but... More
