Excellent Quick Lunch in Peninsula Hotel

This cafe is located downstairs, near the glass walled kitchens and on the way to the subways. Excellent prix fixe lunches and service. Beautiful breads and sweets for purchase. All in all, lunch here is a pleasant interlude in the hustle and bustle of Tokyo.

They sell very nice looking pastries and all kind of sweets. They also offer dine-in sandwiches and salads. It's located at the basement of the hotel Peninsula.

My wife and I went for High Tea. This was reviewed by many as the best High Tea in the area. In addition, the Peninsula has great tea in Hong Kong with a long history. It was over all a great experience. Attentive service, nicely presented, and a great tea selection. Only complaint we had was the food was just... More

The Peninsula Boutique & Cafe is located on the B1 floor of the Peninsula Hotel. It's opened daily from 7.30 am to 7.30 pm. You can have breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or coffee with a cake or dessert and finally take away and food gift purchases. The Cafe is not so big approximatively 30 seats. I went for a coffee... On the bottom of floor of the Peninsula Hotel Tokyo, you will find the Boutique and Cafe, and what a delightful find it is. Not only can you sit and have yummies and something to drink, but you can also watch the confectionery geniuses at work through the windows in the hall way. We were also lucky enough to have... All the chocolate, desserts and cakes are like art master piece. Yet, the taste is marvelous. The service is up to it's standard. Staff is polite and humble. It is like having a relaxing afternoon tea in paradise. Observing the chefs delicately create their masterpieces, through glass window, is interesting and fun.

We enjoyed a quick lunch here on our last day before heading out to the airport, the food was very tasty & the service nice & quick. The cakes in the cake shop looked delicious but sadly we din't have time to sample them as we had to catch our coach to the airport.

Best part of this experience (apart from the delicious cream cakes) is that you can wander around and watch the talented pastry chefs at work, huge viewing windows to spy the creations before they are delivered to the cafe.

Not open till 10.30/11am which was too late as we check out early. so I bought some food there the day b4 we depart. Both the muffin and bread was very delicious. Coffee was also very good. The manager in charge came to help which was very helpful.

We had a really nice lunch in the Cafe - the chef prepared a gluten free pasta with the sauce of the day which was excellent and good value too. The staff were very good, and were concerned about the wait for the pasts, but as this was being cooked especially for us this was not a problem for us.
