Dining in a first class venue at a reasonable price

As hotels go, the Peninsula Tokyo is first class. Interestingly they provide a great dining experience at a reasonable rates. The Lobby dining has live music with a genteel feel. Staff are attentive and service is fast and very polite. If you are eating here, select the set menu. Both... read more

Not open till 10.30/11am which was too late as we check out early. so I bought some food there the day b4 we depart. Both the muffin and bread was very delicious. Coffee was also very good. The manager in charge came to help which was very helpful.

We had a really nice lunch in the Cafe - the chef prepared a gluten free pasta with the sauce of the day which was excellent and good value too. The staff were very good, and were concerned about the wait for the pasts, but as this was being cooked especially for us this was not a problem for us.

Macarons (raspberry was great) Chocolate and whipped cream (real, not the American, can of whipped lies) Coffee! Price: really good! Less than 2,000JPY for a dessert (2) and coffee(2). People from Tokyo stop there to buy stuff for homr, gatherings, etc.

The waiters at this cafe is not attentive and in most instances, they paid insufficient to no attention to the status of the tables. They would only offer assistance when being summoned by guests. Their service is somewhat slow. It is a surprise that you cannot see the service here that is so famous in the Japanese culture.

Quaint cafe located beside their patisserie kitchen - which is open for viewing as its glass walled. Wonderful selection of chocolates and gifts.
