As hotels go, the Peninsula Tokyo is first class. Interestingly they provide a great dining experience at a reasonable rates. The Lobby dining has live music with a genteel feel. The waiters at this cafe is not attentive and in most instances, they paid insufficient to no attention to the status of the tables. They would only offer assistance when being summoned by guests. Their service is somewhat slow. It is a surprise that you cannot see the service here that is so famous in the Japanese culture.

Quaint cafe located beside their patisserie kitchen - which is open for viewing as its glass walled. Wonderful selection of chocolates and gifts.

It's on the first floor, and there are just much prettier hotels lounges in the city with stunning views. The high tea was a decent English tea, but I enjoy the other great hotels more.
