Lovely chocolates and cakes

Best part of this experience (apart from the delicious cream cakes) is that you can wander around and watch the talented pastry chefs at work, huge viewing windows to spy the creations before they are delivered to the cafe.

On the bottom of floor of the Peninsula Hotel Tokyo, you will find the Boutique and Cafe, and what a delightful find it is. Not only can you sit and have yummies and something to drink, but you can also watch the confectionery geniuses at work through the windows in the hall way. We were also lucky enough to have... All the chocolate, desserts and cakes are like art master piece. Yet, the taste is marvelous. The service is up to it's standard. Staff is polite and humble. It is like having a relaxing afternoon tea in paradise. Observing the chefs delicately create their masterpieces, through glass window, is interesting and fun.

We enjoyed a quick lunch here on our last day before heading out to the airport, the food was very tasty & the service nice & quick. The cakes in the cake shop looked delicious but sadly we din't have time to sample them as we had to catch our coach to the airport.

Not open till 10.30/11am which was too late as we check out early. so I bought some food there the day b4 we depart. Both the muffin and bread was very delicious. Coffee was also very good. The manager in charge came to help which was very helpful.

We had a really nice lunch in the Cafe - the chef prepared a gluten free pasta with the sauce of the day which was excellent and good value too. The staff were very good, and were concerned about the wait for the pasts, but as this was being cooked especially for us this was not a problem for us.

Macarons (raspberry was great) Chocolate and whipped cream (real, not the American, can of whipped lies) Coffee! Price: really good! Less than 2,000JPY for a dessert (2) and coffee(2). People from Tokyo stop there to buy stuff for homr, gatherings, etc.

As hotels go, the Peninsula Tokyo is first class. Interestingly they provide a great dining experience at a reasonable rates. The Lobby dining has live music with a genteel feel. Staff are attentive and service is fast and very polite. If you are eating here, select the set menu. Both are good value and give you a choice of meat... More
