Good but very pricey

Nothing here to complain about except value. Restaurants in Tokyo are expensive. This one approaches crazy. Food was very good, but it is not unique nor should it command the prices it does. Go out of the hotel. While you may find places just as expensive, they will provide superior local... read more

By strange ambiance I mean that the furniture was weird for my taste it looked like a Back to the Future portrayal of a bar in the future (not in the techy way but more in the soirit of furniture). Having said that, we went there for a couple of drinks. awe had japanese single malt and sake, both were... More

A friend and I had a few drinks during the happy hour thing. The place was busy with many younger crowds after work , which were attacted by reasonably priced drinks. The staff memembers were pretty young too, but they were rahter busy talking to themselves. I thought The Pennunsula Hotel would be classy, but not the bar. Disappointed.

This is my first visit to the place and founded it by chance. The Japanese stake are marvelous and cooked to the style. Ice cream deserts even better. Has excellent view over the city. I can not complain about the service, it has a very high standard. I highly recommend the place for couples

Hotel Name sounded promising but inside a bit basic - foyer bar/ cafe full to the gunnels and very noisy so we were directed upstairs to Peter:The bar which is disgusting unless you are a smoker - it stinks of tobacco and has people smoking all over the place.  Decor tacky 70's glitz.  Poor views at rooftop level not even... Food is fine, but nothing special. Service is OK, but could be a lot better. Decor seems a bit off. It was a little noisy to carry on a business conversation. We eat there the first night, as it was a convenient meeting point. I will stay at the hotel again, but will venture out for dinner, as we did... More

The restaurant is situated on the top floor of the peninsula building. The view is not that spectacular. The restaurant is next to the hotel bar where smoking is allowed. Smoking is not allowed in the restaurant itself. Being a smoker myself I don't mind restaurants that allow smoking. However, not being able to smoke at the table while having... More

Delicious cocktails and formidable city views. I like that no kids are allowed here because we will pay for a babysitter for time alone together so it's nice that others do the same. There is a great vibe to this bar and it's a lovely way to end the night. We love Peter!

Dramatic view from the best roof-top restaurant in Tokyo. The service was a bit slow, but the dishes cooked to perfection. We had the grilled beef, juicy, tender, very well presented. Staff were attentive, professional and friendly. Then went back for a drink at night, do try the bar, an exceptional atmosphere !
