Kobe beef dinner with a view

The kobe beef was one of the bests Ive had while being in Tokyo. The appetizer were so so. The scallops were like drained on oil. Very nice views and cool atmosphere.

Peter is located on the 24th floor of the Peninsula hotel with stellar views of Tokyo's Imperial Palace Gardens and Hibiya Park. The service was perfect. Nice welcoming and professionalism of the staff. The menu is mainly meat with great steaks proposed as the famous Japanese wagyu beef. The decor is elegant and trendy. I choose the Kanmuri Jidori Oita... More

Peter the Bar has a nice view of Tokyo but the drinks and food are incredibly overpriced. We went during happy hour which only had a few options discounted and they weren't even the best ones. The restaurant which I had visited before is much better but again really overpriced.

such a dissapointment! one does expect a certain standard from the Peninsula, but this restaurant does not meet that at all. the view is nice, the food is okay (but it should be for that price), the service a kind of okay. the main problem is the smell of smoke - the restaurant is non-smoking, but when you sit in... I love just going into the lobby of the Peninsula Hotel in Tokyo. You can feel its style and elegance the minute you cross the threshold. Peter, the hotel's restaurant on the 24th floor, with great views of the Imperial Palace. It is a dining pleasure at both lunch and dinner - a very contemporary, hip, interior design with intriguing... More

We dined here on our first evening in Tokyo, the food was delicious, the surroundings fascinating with images of a forest with a deer running through it projected on the walls. On a les rainy evening I expect there would be nice views.

We enjoyed a meal for our son's 11th birthday...what a treat.. excellent meal, a surprise cake for the birthday boy's desert and then there is the view...not necessarily what you are searching for in Japan, however I have to say I ate the best french fries with my meal...

By strange ambiance I mean that the furniture was weird for my taste it looked like a Back to the Future portrayal of a bar in the future (not in the techy way but more in the soirit of furniture). Having said that, we went there for a couple of drinks. awe had japanese single malt and sake, both were... More

A friend and I had a few drinks during the happy hour thing. The place was busy with many younger crowds after work , which were attacted by reasonably priced drinks. The staff memembers were pretty young too, but they were rahter busy talking to themselves. I thought The Pennunsula Hotel would be classy, but not the bar. Disappointed.

This is my first visit to the place and founded it by chance. The Japanese stake are marvelous and cooked to the style. Ice cream deserts even better. Has excellent view over the city. I can not complain about the service, it has a very high standard. I highly recommend the place for couples
