great place for a casual lunch with outdoor seating. If yo can get there during cherry blossom time even better. there are beautiful trees lining the street in front which makes for a remarkable setting. Food and service are consistently above average.

In town for business meetings and this restaurant was near hotel and dropped in between meetings. Food was easy to order as I understand very little Japanese. If you are in the area of The New Otani hotel, you should definitely eat here.

A good authentic French restaurant ideally situated close to hotel, excellent bouillabaisse (if a little mean with the rouille) fine wines, outdoor seating, made a welcome change to Japanese dining.

Ate here one night while staying at the Hotel New Otani. It was on the same block as the hotel. The food was really good and the atmosphere was low-key and casual. Just what we needed after a long day at work. The wine selection was sufficient to meet our needs. I had a great endive/blue cheese salad and Dorado... More

Menu is the same for most of the year so check out their blackboard specials first. The duck is specially good and well prepared. Steak frits is another standard with a French style steak served on a bed of French fries. Their desserts tray is well stocked and has something for everyone. Ideal restaurant for casual French dining at reasonable... More

We were in the mood to sit outside nearby our hotel in Chiyoda. Et voila: Aux Bacchanales fit the bill. And it was a change from sushi, shabu shabu. The food was good. Not exceptional, but it had everything else that was familiar and we wanted. Watching Tokyo life pass by, either leaving work or strolling leisurely on a Friday... More

There are French bar&caffe and restaurant. As it's located next to New Otani hotel, it's very convenient if you don't want to walk down to Akasaka downtown. The food is average, not so good, but not so bad. But bread was good. Service was average, but not so friendly.

Here is a Real Brasserie! There is very casual atmosphere but the dishes are all excellent french. Off course there are many casual french foods but, even though it is brasserie, we can order also essential french dishes such as steak of foie gras, sauteing of ris de veau and roast of pigeon from Bress.

Aux Bacchanales has been around Tokyo for many years, serving authentic French bistro and cafe cuisine, along with one of the best bakeries in the city. The cafe cuisine is more informal and slightly less expensive than the bistro. The menu is presented on a chalk board. The salads are hearty and tasty, served with crusty french bread. The mains... More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.
