Value and service hard to beat. a TRUE Italian eating experience.

Luckily I have been a regular with Elio's restaurant. You can be guaranteed great service, great ambiance, good food and exceptional value. A true Italian eating experience. Lunch menu for about 1600 yen, you will get fresh focaccia bread to match with a very hearty soup (they will replenish... read more

Small restaurant , cosy ambience. Wonderful Italian host LUCIANO and the best of the best of everything ! We had Vitello Tonnato , Caprese , pasta Vongole , Saltimbocca alla Romana and deserts . Each one of them just as we like it !!! Really the best of the best . The chef is from Calabria and he knows how... More

Even if Elio is one of the most famous restaurant in Tokyo, and even if the meals are delicious, and the welcome is as only Italian people know to be warm and nice, it can not be compared to an italian restaurant in Italy. Unfortunately. The sea fruits pasta were good, but the veal was too cooked. Deserts could be... More

If you miss good South Italian cuisine, this is the place you should go. The foods are very nice using fresh and natural ingredients and services are superb. You will never be disappointed. The only problem is Elio is always crowded.

We ate here the evening before the Tokyo marathon and the home made pasta was delicious. Our waiter Roberto treated us like VIPs, and his food and wine recommendations were outstanding. The atmosphere in the restuarant is lively which added to the authentic atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for great Italian food in Tokyo.

This is a great place to get some Italian food while in Tokyo. We were the only tourists on site that evening since the place was packed with locals, which we took to be a good sign! They have lots of menu offerings (both food and wine), and everything was tasty and cooked perfectly. Desert could have been better, but... More

Stepping into Elio Laconda is like stepping into Italy! Busy, noisy, full of happy people enjoying great food. And its like that very night and even at lunch time. This is not a tourist destination, nearly all the clientele are local residents...most of them Japanese. But unlike other Italian places in Tokyo, Elio has not comprised at all in serving... More

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighborhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
