I am a fussy eater sometimes, especially when it comes to Italian food outside of Italy. Its so easily done wrong. Since being in Asia I refrain from eating Italian food most of the time unless the place has an Italian cook. When I knew I would be going to Elio and the cook was Italian, I had high expectations.... More

Nothing extraordinary we had dinner the food is average but service very good and the atmosphere is made by the italian guys treating you like a part of there crew . Place is very small but well maintain and clean . They use a bit too much cream in every pasta sauce not really great for a good diet but... More

I booked this restaurant as a birthday gift for my father. Personally I don't live in Japan so I was trying to organize the booking and payment in distance. I had several Email conversations with Eleonora. She was very helpful, friendly and even offered to prepare a birthday card. My parents went there for dinner and were extremely happy about... More

failure to eat here is tantamount to sacrilegious. i believe the negative reviews are written by some other mediocre italian restaurant in Tokyo (assuming one exists). don't believe the haters. this place is great. after eating enough sushi to make me grow gills, I was looking for some good pasta. This place has it. the prices are out standing. the... More

Elio's is a convivial and popular Italian restaurant near Kojimachi. But the food is really nothing extraordinary and the prices are quite high.

This restaurant even rivals many restaurants I've visited in Italy. Service is exceptional, great fresh selections, and the vibe is very cozy. This will continue to be a must on any future visits to Tokyo!

Luckily I have been a regular with Elio's restaurant. You can be guaranteed great service, great ambiance, good food and exceptional value. A true Italian eating experience. Lunch menu for about 1600 yen, you will get fresh focaccia bread to match with a very hearty soup (they will replenish the bread). Followed up by main (bolognese, veal shank fettuccine? ravioli... the restaurant was packed, surprisingly for Tuesday evening. the welcoming was typically Italian, warm and friendly. we had a good table and were able to take a look at all the dishes already being served. we chose the chefs recommendation menu and i had a glass of the house wine, it was nice! the food is excellent, the pasta is... Small restaurant , cosy ambience. Wonderful Italian host LUCIANO and the best of the best of everything ! We had Vitello Tonnato , Caprese , pasta Vongole , Saltimbocca alla Romana and deserts . Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighborhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
