Nice job in the restaurant

Excellent actually it's just that the restaurant could be improved with more fans (conditioning). Excellent actually it's just that the restaurant could be improved with more fans (conditioning). The food was tasty especially the barbecue which is their specialty, one of the best I have ever tasted. Not only the restaurant sells delicious food but it's affordable unlike the other fine restaurants which are quite too much for such food. I would recommend this... More

It was a nice restaurant. We came on a quiet weekday and so the customers were confined to the air-conditioned lower ground floor dining space. The other more festive and authentic dining place is in the adjoining antique house setting which I think would have been more impressive. The ground floor dining room is alright with fancy decors of chickens... More

Came here on our first night. The food was good but not a great atmosphere or decor. I recommend the BBQ chicken.

My husband (Galician) loved it so much, and even said that it's much much better than Indonesia's, Thailand's and Malaysia's chicken barbeque and I do agree with him. It is not a place for fine dining for me, but their chicken is a must-try. The rest of the dishes are ok. Being a Boholano (from Bohol/ Tagbilaran City), Payag is... More

Upon arriving in Bohol province from Manila, we had our first meal at Payag Restaurant which is known for its barbecues and chicken INATO (similar to "inasal"). Though they were good, we did not find them spectacular or something to rave about. They simply were what they should be. We also ordered another house specialty, the SINUGLAW, raw TANIGUE fish... I love everything about Payag :) The classic Payag inasal is a must try when in Tagbilaran City. I couldn't recall all of their menu but I've eaten a lot of times there to have sampled a good number of dishes. Always filling and delicious.

We tried eating here as this got good rating from "Ang pinaka" show in GMA7. Thought this has something extra-ordinary to offer but they serve just the same food as the other. Maybe the only thing different from their menu is the sinuglaw. Their sizzling gambas was a disappoinment. It was all sauce and small shirmps. Their sinigang is all... More

The Payag restaurant is all about chicken. It starts with the deco of the restaurant and it ends with the menu being served. If you are looking for a special tasting chicken BBQ, this is the place! …..and on top of it for a very reasonable price!
