Firstly, I am talking of Rafael's in Banaulim beach.. It's one of the best ambience amongst most shacks in that beach.. The people over were happy to serve...We went there very late and ordered food and was surprised to see that everybody, including Daryl (the owner of the place) were ready to serve the exquisite stuffs even at that odd...

Appearance off-putting. More like a cafe than a restaurant but that shouldn't be a deterrent in India. However quality of service and food didn't come much better. My chicken dish was clearly made with pre-cooked cubes of chicken warmed through in sauce, hence meat was dry and tasteless. Prices too high, by local standards, for this level of establishment.

Don't be put off by the exterior of this place - the food is fab!! Calamari chilli fry is the best we'd ever tasted. Likewise the tandoori chicken - not dry at all. This place is used by all the people who visit Colva & stay for the winter every year - good enough recommendation for us!
we only went in here on our next but last day. wish we had gone in sooner. good food and drinks, really cheap
Have been a regular over the years. Very constant quality under Raphael's supervision. Very pleasant atmosphere. Good fish and Tandoori. And I love Chicky the "pet" mangoose in the kitchen...
Just one dinner is enough to judge the place. Continental is not that good but Goan food is excellent. I enjoyed the wide range of shots after dinner and my son enjoyed the starter.
You have to beg for Ice and the waiter wants you to order unpriced items on the menu... Otherwise all right when Raphael intervene...
