Whilst circumnavigating the island in our little Fiat 500 rental car Agaete was a welcome stop after the breath taking beauty of the cliff top roads around the coast. After trying five of the restaurants in P. Las Nieves on two occasions within four years it is my experience that Las Nasas has by far the best culinary quality. The others we've tried are not really worth mentioning...

I thought that the price for the paella would be per person but the lovely meal was in fact for the two of us. Bottle of red wine for under 10 euros and great view. Ok, seats were plastic and one of the staff was a bit abrupt but overall a fantastic experience

One of several fish restaurants with a view of the harbour. All grilled fish excellent - recommend the Parrillada Pescado (mixed platter)

We felt this was a very good restaurant with wonderfully presented fish dishes in which the owners seemed to take pride. Very helpful in discussing dishes - a bit pricier (but so much cheaper than UK!) than some of the other sea front restaurants but worth it for the quality.

Stopped here for lunch after a long motorbike ride. Had the catch of the day for two and bread with a red and green sauce! OMG it was to die for. So good, so fresh! We sat outside and watched a huge ferry dock and unload trucks from the other islands. It was very impressive to see how many trucks... More

Good service, great food and loads of it - best place to eat on the harbour. Fish of the day for 2 was great value and sitting outside watching the sun go down in March couldn't be beaten

Great spot for seafood. Arrive early for a table on the terrace and enjoy the fresh seafood right by the beach.

yes it can get busy, yes it can get noisy, but this is Agaete, many locals, great fish, great salads, great terrace on the sea. We went to Las Nasas almost every day during our 5 days stay in Agaete.
