Good in parts

It,s a shame that TRIPADVISOR have nothing between AVERAGE and VERY GOOD,, I would give this place GOOD. After a long drive we were looking forward to some authentic Canarian food. We got off to a bad start when the waiter arrived with 2 large beers, we had not ordered these and sent them back... read more

Absolutely negative. I had in the grilled fish, 2 sad fish, one was not well so I asked to cook better. The piovra was so hard that I could not eat. The calamari awful. I didn't eat vegetables and arrugadas potatoes because everything didn't have any taste. The service also was really poor, no salt,no olive oil on the table. I... More

I ordered the Fresh Fish Of The Day, I paid 13 Euros and had a plate of three different entire fish, including extra potatoes, prawns, squid, octopus and salad. The fish was cooked to absolute perfection and was utterly delicious. I love food and I love eating out, this restaurant is not going to win any Michelin Stars but believe... More

Located direct next to the fish auction they serve great fresh fish. We had 2 lovely plates with mixed fried and baked fish but also included clams, inkfish and calamari on the plate. It is served with 4 kinds of sauces. The tomato garlic salade was good as were the potatoes with mojo sauce. Nice surprise to find this place. The... More

The food is amazing! It's fresh and typical for Canarian cuisine. I ate papas arrugadas (potatoes with a sauce mojo) with a fresh fish from the port. The dish was very simple, but delicious!!! I loved it! The service was fast and the staff was friendly and spoke many languages. I also recommend taking bread with alioli sauce as a... More

We went here on our first night in Agaete, looking forward to some nice, traditional Spanish food. The service was very friendly and fast, but we weren't impressed by the food. We ordered the tomato-garlic salad, which was simple but very good. We ordered paella to share for a reasonable price, but it was some of the worst paella I've... More

I had breakfast here during my stay, the staff was very helpful and kind. The food was good in comparison to many places. At dinner I tried their seafood, great but the vegetarian meal was awful, with taste of fish, being a fish restaurant they must have used the same oil in the pan. The place is cold with uncomfy... The restaurant offers a very good choice of fresh fish dishes. The fish soup was quite nice .We then went for the mixed fish grill which was really good. The fried stuff served on the surrounding tables looked a bit pale and not appetising at all but I haven't really try it. The waiters looked really hectic and a bit... More

Of the restaurants of Puerto de las Nieves and Agaete, the Cofradia is among the better ones. The young blue-shirted waiters run back and forth between the restaurant and the terrace and did not let us leave us for a minute unattended even though we were the last customers on the terrace. Our waiter spoke English — not always the... More

We´ve been in Agaete one week and this restaurant is the worst. We were waiting for long and the fish came burned. It is the most expensive restaurant in that village. The service was ok, although someone stole my wallet there. There were no clients, we were the only table at that time, and only my friends and the waiters... More
