I have visited this restaurant twice in Alicante and I was disappointed both times. The chocolate selection isn't impressive and the quality isn't exceptional. The service was horrible both times! I don't recommend this restaurant at all. I am not sure what all the hype is about?

THE real, gorgeous traditional hot chocolate served up by Valor who seem to be one of the oldest manufacturers of the sumptuous, thick hot chocolate. This cafe was lovely - and excellent value. I paid EUR 4 for a small traditional Spanish hot chocolate 'with churros' and we expected one churros piece, yet got four really long ones to share... More

Valor provide a guided Tour of the factory, including an initial video of the process, then a walk through set areas of the process court. Finishing in their outlet shop where you can buy their sizable and varied Chocolate to your hearts content. They do allow you to taste as many products as you like, within reason. A fun few... More

We totally enjoyed our chocolate cakes and drinks in this cafe by the harbor of Alicante. The location is amazing on the walking promenade and there is nice atmosohere. The menu has many options for a lovely little treat. The service was great and customers all looked happy.

One of the remaining family chocolate factories. Video presentation which explained how Valor started. Visit to the factory to see how chocolate is made and then to the shop for lots of free tasters. Lots of different chocolate products on sale at reasonable prices. Everything free except chocolate purchases in the shop

I'm not sure what I expected from the Chocolateria really but I did leave feeling that it wasn't as good as I hoped. Chocolate was good though!!
