designer tapas

Possibly the best tapas bar in alicante. Quality and service impressive. A bit expensive but much better value than others in alacant

Not sure why the restaurant is not listed on trip advisor so putting my review here. Had lunch in the restaurant 25th February and it was excellent. Started with the Salmon tartar followed by my first taste of Wagyu style beef (amazing) and a chocolate dessert. Special mention for the waiter who was great. Also the mark up on the... More

Spanish cuisine must be one of the most delicious in the World and this is proven at La Barra de Cesar Anca. Located just off the main Esplanade at Alicante, the service was much better than in most Spanish restaurants in which I've eaten. But the joy was really in the taste of the food and it proved to be... More

Enjoyed a lovely outdoor tapas dining experience at La Barra de Cesar Anca. We chose a couple tapas on our own, and then asked for a couple recommendations from our waiter, who happily obliged. All were delicious, but the standout was an shrimp tartar dish. Highly recommend.

Visited this place during the fiestas de San Juan and managed to get a table inside the restaurant. The place looks very upscale, nice decoration, very modern. There are seats and high tables around the bar an there is another room adjacent to the bar which offers more tranquility. We liked +wine list above average, most brands available by the... More

Had lunch at the bar on Friday 6th June. I did expect it to be a little busier than it was so the atmosphere was a little lacking. The food though was not, I decided to have a selection from the tapas list. I chose two and the waiter who was very helpful suggested the third, it was the best... More

I went at la barra a few years ago and we had a great lunch. I looked for it for a few years eventually I managed to find it last week before I was about to fly away. I still found it enjoyable, tried a few simple tapas that were good, I just noticed little change this can means that... More

We ate dinner here on our first night….at 10pm. It seems to be a very popular place, even though it is a little ways from the center. The bar was crowded, and we were taken to one of their two dining areas. The decor is modern, but not fancy. The service was wonderful. English & Spanish are spoken, and menus... More
