Quality restaurant in the middle of Alicante

We had dinner on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was quite full and seemed to be mostly local people (which is always a good sign). We shared a few of the culinary inventions as starters, and they were all delicious, especially the oxtail ravioli. For main course we all had the Angus entrecote... read more

We are here now for the third year - and never got disappointed. You can chose for the tapas bar or the restaurant, the later one usually is completely booked and might require prior reservation. The menu card offers variations of tapas, salads, main courses and deserts which all are based on classical spanish, fresh ingredients but are prepared and... More

Great choice of tapas and wines. The tapas are modern style and excellent, sometimes even suprising but allways well balanced in flavoufs. The wine is of very good quality and prices are moderate. Worth visiting if you are looking for an innovative tapas selection. Try and sit at the bar or on the terras.

If you want to try tapas in the home of tapas then you couldn't do much better than coming here. The plates are well thought out - the flavours modern and well combined.I had the duck spring roll with crispy leeks, oxtail cannelloni and fois gras with potatoes and pineapple. Each plate was really tasty, full of flavour and very... More

Lovely and plentiful menu. Too much to chose from. Made six choices....way to much!! Drank local Alicante wine , another good choice. Staff friendly. Ate at 10.40. Place was packed inside and out. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service. Will return if ever I'm in Alicante. Thank you for a lovely dining experience.

Something very good near Explanada de España. Easy to find. Gourmet and design food, cosy place and polite service. They have a huge list of all kind of innovative food for example Tomate relleno de mousse de ventresca y su gazpacho, Falso tomate de mousse de queso de cabra y albahaca or Canelón de rabo de buey con crujiente de... I´ve eaten in most of the top tapas restarants in Alicante and this is my favourite. Whereas the setting isn´t quite as good as some, the food is better. I´ve been quite a few times and it pretty much doesn´t matter what you order, it´s always spectacular. It´s more nuevelle cuisine than traditional Spanish tapas, but all the food is... More

Not sure why the restaurant is not listed on trip advisor so putting my review here. Had lunch in the restaurant 25th February and it was excellent. Started with the Salmon tartar followed by my first taste of Wagyu style beef (amazing) and a chocolate dessert. Special mention for the waiter who was great. Also the mark up on the... More
