Great wine and food combination

We enjoyed the "menu degustacion de Maria Jose San Roman" with the really fantastic wine arrangement. We loved the "Albufera rice with red prawn , mushroom and black truffle. The explanation by the sommelier of the wine spice combination was very good. Lovely restaurant in the middle of the old... read more

Since this is the only restaurant with a Michelin star in Alicante, we had booked a table well in advance. Our expectations were high, but sadly we left the restaurant two hours later feeling disappointed. Not that the food was bad, it was just far from Michelin quality. We both had the degustacion menu, and the dishes varied from the... More

This used to be the best tapas bar in Alicante, now it has fallen behind others like Portal and Terra. The menu is reduced but overcomplicated. The fried lentils are disgusting. served cold and crunchy, tastes like stale breakfast cereal.

I visited this restaurant in September and have just about calmed down after our visit In order to write a review. My husband, daughter and I were really looking forward to our visit having eaten at the tapas restaurant previously. However, what a big big disappointment. I feel it all started to go downhill after we had chosen the special... More

The taster menu has some lovely touches but overall falls short of other experiences I've had of Michelin Star quality food. The oyster, which I generally like, was horrible and made even worse by being gritty and having bits of shell in it. The lobster bisque was nice and the lamb too but overall it was inferior to what I'd... More

We were 4 women visiting the restaurant at 3.th october 2015. We had the tasting menu with 8 dishes an Two appetizers, and the Winemenu with 6 glas. Everything was just perfect: the Wine, the food, the service. The dishes was beautifully served, and the Wine matched the dishes perfect. No wonder, hvis is a Michelin Star restaurant.

Very small and intimate, excellent food and reasonably priced, few tankers so you need to reserve, some of our colleagues had the set gourmet tasting menu and said the good was very good and the accompanying wives were supers
