During our holiday we've been three times at Spiga. The staff made us feel very welcome. Special thanks to Ana who gave us attentive and friendly service and good advice about the menu and wine. We've had excellent meals at Spiga! Pizza and pasta homemade, fresh ingredients used in all dishes, authentic flavours. Lovely limoncello! We certainly will return for... More

Amazing experience. Food was perfect and the service from the waitress was definitely one of the best service experiences we've had in Alicante during our 1-week stay. Try it before you leave the city!

We ate in Spiga twice during our weeks stay in Alicante. The quality of the ingredients used was superb. Both nights we shared the caprese salad, the tomato, mozzarella and basil were so full of flavour. It was the best caprese we have found since our trip to Sicily 2 years previously. My partner had the Calzone on both occasions... More

We ate at this restaurant twice while vacationing in Alicante Spain. Our waitress, Anna, was a pleasant, & perfect waitress. She was very attentive & helpful with selections. She also spoke English and helped us w/ our dinner decisions. We had pizza, pasta bolognese, filet mignon, ravioli w/ alfredo sauce and all of our selections were amazing!! We would definitely... On a school trip, me and 3 other companions found ourselves in the wonderful city of Alicante, Spain, in search of a delicious meal to re-strengthen our taste buds after a terrible dinner at a tourist-trap restaurant along the boardwalk, we stumbled upon Spiga in an alley next to the beautiful San Nicholas Cathedral. Not quite knowing what this beautiful... More

Rustic Italian food, no frills but cooked to perfection. The tiramisu was the best I've had. Service was excellent.

Both my husband I ordered pizzas but they were both tasteless and thick with mozzarella. I'm certain you could get a fast better pizza elsewhere in alicante.

We went to this restaurant on a number of occasions on this trip to Alicante after having dismissed it before. It was a great find and we had great food and service. Proper Italian food and really reasonable prices. We avoided sitting outside as you got the buskers out there but in doors it was a little oasis of pleasure.

We had 'comida' here in April and wanted to go for the daily menu. This was a true disappointment. The starter was a carpaccio of salmon and swordfish. It was still icy when I got it on my plate,no taste at all. Then I had a cannelloni with bakalau fish. It wasn't bad but not really good. Full of sauce... More
