I have eaten in a lot of restaurants through out Europe and this one has been one of my favorite. I like my food and this place is not short filling your plate, it was all fresh and tasty and the staff were polite and spoke some English as well as me speaking very very little Italian, I also like... This one tops them all on our trip to Italy and is a front runner in our many other trips abroad. The location might be somewhat off the beaten track and might be "frightening" to people who are scared easy particularly from shadows, as mostly Americans in my experience, but well, actually very well worth the visit. Great antipasti, an... More

Having spent longer than expected visiting Herculaneum, we were in need of a lunch stop and the lower road took us into Torre del Greco. The outside deck was not set up and I originally thought therestaurant was closed but it turned out to be open and serving wonderful fresh fish and seafood -- laid out on a marble slab... More

Had lunch here after arriving on a flight from Naples, its not far from the airport and made a great first taste of Italy to start our holiday. We had the Prosseco welcome, four of us being offered a little complimentary glass which was a nice touch. We had a mixed antipasti to start which was a nice mix of... More

Had a superb seafood meal at this very Italian restaurant full of locals and no tourist's which is always a good sign .Friendly staff and superb food, we ended our meal with the manager giving us some of his delicious home made lemoncella . Highly recommend this restaurant.

We found this restaurant by chance while searching for somewhere to have lunch near to Ercolano, where we were staying, and then we went back there for dinner! We were served a complimentary prosecco, which we followed with an excellent antipasto di mare, the biggest oysters (local) we have ever seen, and delicious seafood pasta. The house white wine was... We found this place while we were lost and trying to find our hotel. Thank goodness for a server, Antonio, who spoke English and even helped us find our hotel at night. You know the place is good when it's packed with locals. Very authentic and we were the only foreigners! Fresh seafood. If you can't read an italian menu,... More

We found the Voce del Mare purely by chance. We were heading along the autostrada towards Naples between Vesuvius and the sea and, slightly pushed for time, we wanted a meal without the hassle of heading into say, Sorrento or Naples for lunch. We took the Torre del Greco exit and just followed our noses downhill until we reached the... More
