At first a bit offputting but then a great experience

We arrived a bit early by Italian Standard at about 19:15 or so. We wandered in and were not really friendly received and we stumbled around this Little gem of a place. Later on the what must be the owner told us come back we open at 19:30. So we did and were graciously allowed to enter the... read more

My family of 8 ate here on a recommendation -we were not disappointed! The restaurant is tucked away in a small town and meanders through various charming rooms and then out on a gorgeous veranda overlooking the Tuscan hillsides. The food was wonderful - loved the truffle pasta! We all tried each other's dishes - all were delicious. Service was... More

One for the non Italian punters who are too linguistically challenged, inexperienced or scared to get out there and see what Italy really has to offer. If you want a waiter who speaks with a crap English accent, a nice terrace and view and food which doesn't delight, than this can be one of your chosen destinations.

We came on this restaurant by chance .A stopping off point on the way to Pisa airport. In the centre of a very ordinary village is this fascinating hotel and restaurant.A rabbit warren of a building opens out on to a lovely terrace. We ate pasta dishes which were first class.Tasty ,original, and served with style.. Others eating around us clearly were... More

Quattro Gigli was the first restaurant during our vacation in Italy this year and turned out to be very good choice. Service was very efficient and also personnel very professional, for example no problem dealing with one family members with gluten free diet. Food was also good and nice view over the valley made the experience very enjoyable. Small rain... More

Excellent food, staff helpful . A very relaxing evening . Wrong time of year to sit on terrace but the dining room was amazing with a wonderful fire. A true experience of Italian cooking

This restaurant is about the setting. The view from the terrace is nothing short of stunning, and the service is friendly and attentive and good with the children. The food was enjoyable and well worth the price charged. Desserts in particular were good. But what sticks in the mind is the sunset. If you're in the area it's well worth... More

We went to the restaurant (which is part of the hotel) with our 3 kids and friends. We started at sunset and the view from the terrace was absolutely breathtaking overviewing the valley and the Montopoli. The food was delicious and the Staff very friendly. For all we paid 108 EUR, which we believe is quite acceptable as we took... More
