We came on this restaurant by chance .A stopping off point on the way to Pisa airport. In the centre of a very ordinary village is this fascinating hotel and restaurant.A rabbit warren of a building opens out on to a lovely terrace. We ate pasta dishes which were first class.Tasty ,original, and served with style.. Others eating around us clearly were... More

Quattro Gigli was the first restaurant during our vacation in Italy this year and turned out to be very good choice. Service was very efficient and also personnel very professional, for example no problem dealing with one family members with gluten free diet. Food was also good and nice view over the valley made the experience very enjoyable. Small rain... More

Excellent food, staff helpful . A very relaxing evening . Wrong time of year to sit on terrace but the dining room was amazing with a wonderful fire. A true experience of Italian cooking

This restaurant is about the setting. The view from the terrace is nothing short of stunning, and the service is friendly and attentive and good with the children. The food was enjoyable and well worth the price charged. Desserts in particular were good. But what sticks in the mind is the sunset. If you're in the area it's well worth... More

We went to the restaurant (which is part of the hotel) with our 3 kids and friends. We started at sunset and the view from the terrace was absolutely breathtaking overviewing the valley and the Montopoli. The food was delicious and the Staff very friendly. For all we paid 108 EUR, which we believe is quite acceptable as we took... More

We read some reviews of Quattro Gigli and felt we had to try it. Since our villa was only a few minutes away we stopped the night before and made a reservation. You must do this as this is one of only a few restaurants in town. The restaurant is in a hotel and the outdoor area is just beautiful... More

While traveling in Italy this fall my husband closed his eyes and picked a spot on the map to visit next. We took the train to a town called MONTOPOLI. This town had no tourist attractions, no bars, no famous landmarks to visit. But it had an quaint hotel called the Quattro Gigli that we stayed at for two nights.... More

A beautiful restaurant in the town on Montopoli. Wonderful, friendly and professional service. Lovely outdoor dining area with a beautiful view, especially at sunset. Great food and wine. I loved the hand made and painted plates and bought one as a souvenir.
