Cosy, nice and delicious!

Great place run by very nice family. Food simple but authentic and delicious. Nice atmosphere, every guest is given a lot of attention. If you look for nice and true Tirol specialties - go there!

We went back to Galtur after many years and found the Tiroler Stube with the excellent staff just the same as we remembered it. Wonderful ambience Hildergard & Marianna still running a great place. Good place to try all the things we do not get in England, especially the dumplings. Very good House wine too.

The waitress is dressed in traditional costume and this fits in with the place. Everyone says hello when you walk in even the other customers. There is a sun trap of a terrace for an après ski drink and I've also eaten there. Would recommend a visit

Very cosy, excellent food and friendly atmosphere. Tucked between the bank and a large hotel in the very center of the village, this small restaurant is a gem. We've visited it several times and will come again. The staff is very friendly. You have to try their cakes.

We ate there twice over the past week as we were in search of authentic Tyrolean food during our skiing vacation. The food is excellent, service is quick and extremely friendly and the place is small and rustic. This is a family-owned restaurant, something worth supporting. Prices are moderate. This is a child-friendly place. As it is small it fills... More

Tipical Tyroler Restaurant. The price was ok, cheap. Do not expect to eat anything extraordinary, Austrian cuisine / Tyrolean hasn't a very wide choice. The staff is nice. There's a rustic atmosphere. Please note, the kitchen close at 9 pm.

I go to the Tiroler Stube every time I go to Galtur. I love the place, it is an informal (not many ski resort restaurants are informal) bar/restaurant serving amazing food with great service. The only problem is getting in as it is that popular. If you want and evening meal get there before 6pm!

Only popped in for an apres ski beer and ended up there for hours. Food was basic but delicious. Service excellent and Jagerty lethal.
