Great choice to sample the best of the region

Although I am from the most northeastern part of Spain, I have some of my family roots around the Navarra/Aragón area, and have been traveling there since I was a kid. I am familiar with the traditions, the accent, the folklore and of course the food. I was happy to discover this place. It managed... read more

We stayed two nights in Sos del rey Catolico and ate here both nights. As others have noted the food was very good. We had the tasting menu the first night and then went back for our favourites the following night. Alfonso was fantastic, recommending wines, which were really good, and he made us feel very welcome.

The food was good but nothing special. The staff was very pleasant, and the seating and atmosphere were very nice. Make a reservation. We couldn't get in the first of our two nights.

There is no need to go on about the food, it's very good. The service is superb and the ambience is, well, medieval - with electricity. There are not a lot of choices in this town but this one should be on your 'should try' list. You need to navigate through a bit of a maze at the entry but... More

The service at this restautant was excellent, as was the food and the wine. I tried the tasting menu which had a little bit of everything. I particularly liked the liver pate.

Having been slightly disappointed by the large number of diners/lack of service in the Parador (the meal was good, but for the price you expect more than just good food...) we sought out the number one restuarant in the village according to the reviews in tripadvisor: it's not so hard to locate in the tiny historical centre! If it looks... More

It was recommended by hotel. Easy walk. Quality food. At the upper end of our mid-range budget, but worth every penny!

Had a very enjoyable meal here. The views are fantastic, building beautiful and the food excellent. The degustation menu was great value at €25 each as it gave you smaller (not that small) versions of lots of courses which were really tasty. Wine was also reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful - don't know how the owner/manager managed to hold... More

We were initially slightly put off this place because the menu outside featured the 'degustation' menu but had a big sign saying 'drinks not included' with the 'not' underlined. We wouldn't have expected drinks to have been included so it seemed a bit confrontational to mention this. Anyway, there weren't many other restaurants to choose from so went it, and... More
