Great starter, pigeon & black pudding, main course arrived medium rare rib eye cooked perfect but the field mushroom was cold, so I asked if they could heat the mushroom up, it came back on a red hot plate, perfectly good steak now well over cooked, jacket potato hotter than the sun, I did mention this to the waitress but... Eat at this pub as it is the closest to the nearby hotel and it was recommended by the hotel staff. This is a typical village pub with a fine selection of real ales and lagers. the restaurant area is on several levels and is serviced by a separate bar area. The menu is very varied and reasonable. I had a... More

My girlfriend and I just arrived to Brandon and we went to this lovely pub - restaurant for dinner. I was very happy with my mussels and all the food we had in general. Very pleased.

Smashing village pub but it could be outstanding with just a little effort. very good lasange and roast pork dinner. My wife had opted for the roast beef but they had run out at 7.30pm. Sweets took a long time to arrive. Tighten up on these things and it could be a fabulous place.

we visited this pub at lunchtime on a Wednesday and really enjoyed the meal. There were 4 of us and we all agreed it was good value for money with the 2 4. 1...the food was well presented and tasty. Will visit again when next in Coventry

We were passing and decided to stop for something to eat. It had been a very long time since we had ventured into this establishment. We were pleasantly surprised. The décor was lovely and welcoming and the food and service very good. We will definitely be going back in the very near future.

We've been here a few times and cannot fault the food. They have a decent menu and a main usually costs you around £10 avg but it's great value if you go when it 2-4-1, mostly lunchtimes. Have a look on their website before you go to find out exact hours for the offer. We've been on an evening and... More
