Amazing vegetarian menu

You won't find this place by accident, but it is worth looking for. Superb fresh produce is prepared in traditional yet creative ways. The four-course, €25 vegetarian menu was particularly impressive. A great address.

The menu was interesting, food was excellent, ambiance very pleasant and service impeccable. It was one of the best meals during a recent trip to Italy. However, for vegetarians, as in most restaurants, the choices are not wide.....but those available were excellent. (Our group especially liked an eggplant dish and they graciously provided us with another serving which we took... More

In the Centro Storico of Loorotondo down a narrow stairway lies an immaculate, smart, welcoming restaurant. The menu can best be described as modern Pugliese; a modern twist on old favourites. Just as an example, delicious vegetables fried in a light batter are served in a paper cornet. A se!section of about 5 or 6 antipasti, primi and secondi make... More

A lovely ambience, good service and great produce, but we suffered death by cheese and egg. The vegetarian antipasti contained almost no veg! We were so full from numerous types of cheese and soufflé that we could barely eat our mains. More thought could perhaps go into producing a well balanced meal.

I was on business in Locorotondo and as soon as I arrived I was whisked to this restaurant. Location is contemporary, elegant and underground. Food is elegant and was beautifully cooked. Antipasto excellent, fried zuchinni flowers and pumpkin flowers super, and lamb was tasty. Service from the owner was great. Some well regarded locals took me to this restaurant so... More

We enjoyed an excellent dinner at Bina. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and it was no problem to bring our (small) dog too. The staff was very friendly and recommended us excellent wines which were all from the region. The food was amazing too! We had a small dish of mixed appetizers (which was more than enough for us)... Service was polite but way too slow and sadly the food wasn't worth the wait, especially when the pasta tasted exactly like Heinz Spaghetti. 2 hours for one pasta and two mains + €50 = one unhappy customer.

We dropped into the town after a lovely morning looking at the Trulli world heritage site a few miles away. Having decided to have a long lunch this was the first restaurant we came across and we could not have done better. The welcome was genuine, the service excellent and the food just kept coming. We are two couples who... More

We stopped for lunch on our way back from Martina Franca and we were not disappointed. The ingredients were all local as was the wine, all very tasty, well cooked and good 'slow food'. Well worth a visit.
