One of the best Sunday lunches I have had in a long time. No standing about at a carvery but delightful table service. 3 courses on offer. We choose the Welsh rabbit tart with lovely chutney, Beef, Pork and Turkey on the menu, tasty beef chosen by us both and 3 generous slices arrived with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, boiled... Visited the Halway on the hop on way home from a morning out for Sunday Lunch, car park was full, but took our chance. Was greeted by a friendly gentleman who accommodated us even though it was full. Carvery was on the menu which was delicious, plenty of choices of meat (all melted in your mouth) plus plenty of choices... More

The car park of this pub is always full so we took that as a good sign! We decided to pop in for sunday lunch and found the atmosphere a little strange. The food was lovely, very tasty and a great price. The staff were very friendly and looked after us very well but the carvery is held in the... More

I went for a meal here on a Friday night, having never visited before! The bar and bar seating is very welcoming with a lit candle on each table and ambient lighting. We were then taken through to the 'dining area' to the left. This room had slightly outdated decor and a gaudy colour changing battery 'candle' on each table,... More

The meals were well presented but for the price charged think they should have come with veg, which we had to order as extra. I do feel the prices were restaurant prices and the venue feels more like a pub. The sweets were well presented and tasty, but the ice cream proved to be overpriced and a disappointment. The staff were... More

What can I say, extensive choice on menu📋, delicious homemade food🍴🍷, smart and informative staff👔, an absolute gem of a place in some of the prettiest surroundings in the Towy valley🌄. If only they sold their homemade sausages to take home. Cant wait till they open their caravan site. 🚐⛺🎣 P.S. They scored a 5🌟 food hygiene rating by the... More
