Tasty, Tasty, Tasty

We wanted a filling lunch and certainly found it here. Portions were generous without being huge. Everything was hot and delicious. Service was quick, especially considering a Friday lunch crowd. But the absolute best was the explosion of flavor in your mouth. We shared 3 starters (sausages in... read more

We came that way because we wanted to see Casares, on the way back we thought to stop for a quick lunch with our new born. We parked right outside the restaurant so they must have seen us getting out of the car and getting the pram and the baby ready to go inside, after 5 minutes we entered with... More

We wanted a filling lunch and certainly found it here. Portions were generous without being huge. Everything was hot and delicious. Service was quick, especially considering a Friday lunch crowd. But the absolute best was the explosion of flavor in your mouth. We shared 3 starters (sausages in wine, Casares cheese, and Spanish omelet) before diving into our main courses... More

This Venta is 15 minutes up from the N340 coast Road on the way to Casares. It is well worth the trip. Fab views over Estepona Mountain and the Med, delicious local food with staff who hardly speak English so it is authentic Spanish. Try the Cabra (Goat), Rabo de Torro (Ox Tail) and Morcilla (Black Pudding are excellent. I... More

I have been there last weekend with a group of friends and we had (shared) many dishes. I can say that the food was amazing as well as the great service. I am Italian and I know very well the Spanish food since many years. This was just unique, superb, genuine, homely cocked, and the desserts – all homemade- well, I... More

Service 5/5 the staff are on it, food choice by me still not up to it as I should have gone for one of the specials, had the rabbit which was ok, but saw a great pork main go by and tested some excellent wild mushrooms. Driving so I'm not sure if the boss felt pity on me or just... More

Venta Victoria is on the road that leads from the Casares roundabout by the beach to Casares itself and takes about 10 minutes drive straight up hill from the roundabout. It is situated on a bend in the road which gives sweeping views from the restaurant itself We did not book, however this was lunchtime on a February weekday, even... More

we went there on a Sunday, and it was busy. if you had not booked no chance, they even had a group of 25 in an upstairs dining area that I did not know existed. Despite this the service was still efficient Andalusian style? I think that they must have had the whole family working. The Cabrito was exceptional and... More

What was once just 20 years or so ago just a house with an open fire and a menu hand written on scrap of paper... Now a thriving lunchtime venue to enjoy honest home cooked cuisine in wonderful surroundings. Not just for the locals anymore. Book in advance on Sunday if I were you... Stunning views from this charming place. menu is typical of the local Venta's fayre for this part of Spain, but done really well and delicious, including the "secreto de cerdo" and their plentiful potajes. House wines of very good quality and service very friendly and unrushed despite being so busy. A must on the Casares road.
