Quirky,fun atmosphere and wonderful food.

The Noisy Oyster is a unique experience in a facility seemingly created out of nothing. It is quirky and unusual unlike any other dining experience. We've eaten at the Noisy Oyster before and really enjoyed it - it is one of the most popular restaurants in Paternoster. Service is friendly and efficient and the dining area, in the courtyard is delightful, especially at night. This visit, however, saw me sending back my main course, which was oversalted and overcooked, and I didn't much enjoy my... More

My Wife and I enjoyed a most wonderful evening at the Noisy Oyster. It was evident that the food was prepared using only the freshest produce, most outstandingly the oyster, fish and mussels. the flavour combinations were delicately considered and beautifully presented. Compliments to the chef

The Noisy Oyster is hidden behind a pretty ordinary exterior, and were it not for the recommendation of our hosts, we may have given it a miss. Once you get through the door you transit from the old world farmhouse foyer to a Mediterranean (?) fairyland of courtyards and pavilions. We started with tartar and sardine, and progressed to cob... Great atmosphere, good food and excellent service. The restaurant was packed on a Saturday lunchtime and you would never have known it. Prices are good, too.

We were undecided on which restaurant to choose for lunch in Paternoster, but thank goodness we chose the noisy oyster. The place was fairly full, but the accomodated us inside as it was icy cold outside. We shared poached oysters for starters and they were to die for. Then came the mains , oven roasted fresh fish for the wife and... More

Best restaurant in Paternoster. Excellent service. A bit cold sitting outside in winter even with the heaters. Chairs are rather uncomfortable but the service and food are excellent. Very interesting menu! We had calamari and koftas for starters, pasta and hake for mains and brulee for dessert and I would highly recommend these dishes.

Always book this restaurant because it's busy and is the best restaurant in Paternoster. Food is varied and always hot and tasty. The atmosphere in the restaurant is romantic ,cosy and unrushed perfect for couples looking to relax together.
