The Noisy Oyster looks modest from the outside but don't be fooled. We had a group of 15 people which is no easy task, Camilla and her team gave us a three course dinner that will be remembered for many years to come. The food and service was superb and was all served timeously. Most of us ordered seafood which... More

We were not really sure what to expect when visiting this spot. Just get through the door and you will be sold. Food was great and the layout is chilled and fits perfectly with the vibe. Saw some reviews about the cost of the food and was a little bit nervous. Not to worry, pricing is in line with, if... More

There's a great patio area at the back where they keep the fires roaring and give you blankets to cosy up in. I suspect they were having a bit of an off day. Had a noodle dish with 'pulled pork and duck' - couldn't find any pork and there wasn't much duck in it. Followed by the most pathetic 'cheese... More

Never had such a tasty lamb shank (I had the last one available for lunch) - We will drive to Paternoster for Sunday lunch all the way from Cape Town to experiece the food again. I tasted the pork sausage and the duck pate = both were filled with flavor.

The seafood laksa was outstanding, I could eat it all day, every day. The rest of the food was excellent and the Dark chocolate torte was spectacular. The selection of wines has something for everyone, the only thing that I found lacking was the selection of craft beer. The courtyard got a little cold despite the many fires and braziers around.... Lovely romantic setting with fairy lights and roaring fire on a cold winters night😍.service excellent-great starters white bait and grilled halloumi with roasted beetroot- main course whole cob beautifully prepared, great taste, but difficult to eat with all the fine bones and grilled hake on mash potato which was average. Great evening 😍

The Noisy Oyster is usually of a higher standard ... salad over populated with lettuce not worth R65. The main dishes fish and meat were average.

Definitely the place to visit on the west coast. Oysters, Kingklip and cheesecake are all amazing!! The atmosphere is unique and very different to the normal (sometimes boring) traditional fishing village. Highly recommended!!

We arrived at Noisy Oyster with high expectations and the staff and chef managed to exceed our expectations. The restaurant is very charming and cozy. We order large oysters as starters, which were indeed quite big and fresh. For mains we had meat and a seafood laksa, both dishes were equally amazing. To complete our experience we met interesting and... More
