We had our 1st wedding anniversary there and we met the owners briefly although they would not remember us. We spent 3 blissful days in Paternoster and had lunch at the Noisy Oyster on 2 consecutive days such was the service, quality of food and friendliness of the staff! To hear of this incident is SHOCKING!! The crime has escalated... More

Definitely the place to visit on the west coast. Oysters, Kingklip and cheesecake are all amazing!! The atmosphere is unique and very different to the normal (sometimes boring) traditional fishing village. Highly recommended!!

We arrived at Noisy Oyster with high expectations and the staff and chef managed to exceed our expectations. The restaurant is very charming and cozy. We order large oysters as starters, which were indeed quite big and fresh. For mains we had meat and a seafood laksa, both dishes were equally amazing. To complete our experience we met interesting and... More

Don't be fooled by what you see on the outside. This unpretentious little restaurant in Paternoster has a roaring fire inside to keep out the West Cost weather and reveals itself as a fantastic food experience with an interesting menu and wine list and loads of ambience. We were a large family group and went for dinner and ordered prawns,... More

Spent the weekend in Langebaan where we hadnt been for about 25 years and decided to go to the "Noisy Oyster" in Paternoster for lunch today because of the T/A reviews. I must say it was excellent. The ambience was great. We had a huge breakfast so didnt want 3 courses for lunch. Hubby order Grilled Hake which was a... More

We enjoyed a kid free dinner with two other couples at the Noisy Oyster and it lived up to expectations we had. The food was outstanding and the service excellent. A very good wine list with an excellent selection of wines. We will most definately return the next time we are in Paternoster.

This is a spot you must visit. One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Service was good and the ambiance made the meal taste even better. Recommend the port terrine and the seafood laksa Well worth a visit.
