Big food, little taste

This is a great place for first time visitors. They have HUGE portions that make for a fun experience but the food is far from amazing. If you're looking for a restaurant to try authentic german food I would skip this place but if you're looking for memories put this on your list!

Very easy to get to. Courteous Service, Very Good Customer Service . The food was plentiful and very large portions we all asked for to go boxes.

My family and I ate here this afternoon and really enjoyed our visit! My husband had the paprika schnitzel, I had the Wiener schnitzel and our kids had schnitzel kid meals. The prices are completely fair considering the portions you get, I've paid the same or more at other local places and left still hungry and feeling it was just... More

We visited on a Friday evening this restaurant. My husband had a shnitzel milano and I had a turkey shnitzel. It was very good. The staff was very nice. My daughter had the burger, which was also very good. The owner told us that he has new burger buns. The burger bun was really good. However, the portions were very... More

This is a confusing place. The dining area is lovely and the service is sublime. I was welcomed with such grace and style, that I thought I was in for a 5-star dining experience. But the menu is so weird, like they can't pick a style, and the food portions are clumsy. I first ordered the spaghetti, and it was... More

I went to The Big Emma for lunch with co- workers on a business trip. I order the "Burger" and was very disappointed. I wanted to get the smaller half sized burger but the waitress was persistent that the bigger full-sized burger was a better option. I'm a little guy, so I'm guessing that she was looking out for herself... More

This restaurant offers portions worthy of a food challenge. I had a half portion of a salad and could barely finish it despite how delicious it was. The portions are oversized as in the name of the restaurant but to go boxes are offered for convenience.

If you into the novelty of having huge portions of food.....then Big Emma's is the place for you. Unfortunately, the food didn't taste good at all. I had a friend go a different time and she thought the food tasted like moth balls. Oh, and you are not allowed to share food.

The system is right, you can not share the food. The menu beginns with a small(1/4) portion and finished with a x-large portion. It means we have 3 different sizes of food. The x-large portion is much cheaper then the small portion. So, when everbody share, we make no profit anymore. Other restaurants have not 3 sizes from the food. Moth-Balls... More

Had to go there a couple of times for good bye parties. The food is just bad, way to greasy and they wouldn't let the kids share a meal. Big minus!

This is our fourth time visiting this place. Still the same. Nothing has change and the selection are still pricy. The portion is still large but very pricy and quality is not as great. They do have very staff which is a plus!
