The food was good, and the portions are humongous. The sizes are quarter, half, and full. Quarter is more than enough. We wanted to get a half size and share but they will not let adults share. They did however let our three children share the full size schnitzel burger which was €20. The food was good, and had fun... More

Always interesting to watch people take the Big Emma challenge. Staff is very friendly and fluent in English. Popular restaurant with military members.

Went here with a friend and we were both starving. Perfect place. The prices may seem high but they really do give you oversized portions. They come in quarter, half, and full. Quarter's more than enough for one person and I'm not sure how they feel about sharing plates but a full portion could feed 4-6 people. I've only tried... More

I've tried Eating here twice and both times was disappointed. Yes, you get large sodas and a lot of food, but it's just too much and not very good. We waited a long time for our check, but were with a big group. Still, I wish they could have accommodated as we did have a reservation.

Size over taste at Big Emmas. Better value in the area is avilable for more traditional food. However, they handled a large group of hungry Americans on a Sunday with aplomb.

The restaurant inside is hot and stuffy and the service is slow and the waiters aren't pleasant. The portions are gigantic so much so that you can't even finish the half portion of salad. If you like sand in your salad then you'll love this place! Tasteless food and slow service ( We waited over an hour for our food)... More

Wow... Long-time listener, first-time caller. I'd heard the legendary stories of how wunderbar Big Emma's could be. My mouth watered every time someone mentioned an over-sized hamburger with a huge plate of pommes frittes (fries). So, I cajoled my husband into an evening out with another couple. It was a weeknight; so there really was no crowd to speak of... More

I always get the Small Turkey Schnitzel, which is still a gigantic portion! but very good. My boyfriend tried his hand at the "small" burger, and he couldn't even get through half of it. It is ridiculous, but I guess that is their claim to fame. It is very hectic sometimes, especially on the weekends during dinner/night time, but I... More

Restaurant has a lovely outdoor seating area. Came for the hamburgers and was promptly informed you cannot share food! Smallest hamburger was 8.27 inches for 14.40 euro. Seriously? French fries an additional 1.90 euro. So. .. The bun is flat, dry and very large. The patty is dry. It was at best a marginal burger. The entire burger was drenched... More
