Work colleague took me here. All the food was exceptionally average. If you do go get the fried potatoes and skip the burger. Beer is cheap at least.

Been here previously on visiting friends from the air base, who introduced it to me so was looking forward to a return visit. Weather was freezing with it being Christmas so really needed warming up and big Emma's didnt disappoint. Had a 500g steak with pepper sauce and fries and it was delicious, the meat was cooked prefectly and was... More

If you want A LOT of food with average taste... then this is the place to go. The hamburger is bigger than your average plate.

We hat a very nice time in Big Emma. It was my first time in Big Emmas. The cream schnitzel is the best I`ve ever eaten.

So for years Emma's had been known as the place to go for huge portions of schnitzel, steak and sausages. They even have a big burger with a pound of bun. Recently it seems Emma's is under nee ownership or management and the food quality has suffered greatly. Even the wait staff has changed in this go-to spot for tourists... More

I went to big Emma's for my Birthday, a friend of mine told us about it and we wanted to try something different, attached for the food portions that characterize this place. The service was good and nice, the waitresses speak English, there is bell on the table to ask for service but you really don't use it because they... More

Oh my gosh ... huge portions .... really! Definitely go for the quarter portion unless you're either starving or intending to take home a doggie bag! The food was very delicious -- I had the schnitzel Bolognese, and my hubby had the cordon bleu ... both were great, and we both took portions home! My daughter ordered the half-size hamburger... Definitely get the quarter portions unless you are seriously hungry. Portions are much larger than size listed. I ordered a quarter serving of the Jagerschnitzel and was only able to eat half. My husband took home half of his quarter portion of sausage as well. Meals come with salad bar (mostly pickled but very good). The restaurant has English menus... More
