We booked LePre Gourmand while staying in Eyrages for a friends birthday. It was a lovely evening so we sat outside on the terrace. We started with Champagne followed by a couple of bottles of Rose wine. We all went for the 56€ Parfum de saison dans les pres menu. We were served an amuse bouche which was lovely. Then... More

My fiancée and I ate here to celebrate our engagement a few days earlier. The dining experience itself was good - but both of us soon become ill with food poisoning, which ruined our plans for the next day. I called the restaurant to alert them of this fact and received only excuses no apologies. They called back a few... More

Roasted langoustines with his green apple sorbet and Saint-pierre cooked in butter and vanilla seem to reading a bold combination, well no; it is sublime Bravo for your gourmet cuisine. The only downside poorly soundproofed room.

I had already visited and reviewed Le Pre Gourmand. However, returning the atmosphere was confirmed to be just too airless, oppressive and funeral-like. On a warm evening, why not use the splendid terrasse, or at least open a window? The creative cuisine remains very good, although I find served with too many little extras : amuse-bouche, mise-en-bouche, post-dessert, ..., but... More

What a find! Everything about our evening was wonderful. The setting was very nice -- a simple dining room with high ceilings, well-spaced tables and contemporary furnishings, looking out onto a lovely garden. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful (and very willing to do their best in English). But it was the food that was most memorable. We had... More

Previous reviews were spot on, service was doing its best, the food is as good as most Michelin starred restaurants in the area, but the restaurant is let down by its setting. This is probably a function of the investment needed to build the restaurant and little was left to spend on the design of the place, but we were... More

We went for Sunday lunch and it did not disappoint. In fact it was some of the best food I have had. I started with poached cod with aioli which had slivers of vegetables. Delicious and then followed by rabbit cooked two ways. Doubly delicious. Along with all the bouche d'amuse and sweet things at the end we were full... More

Beautiful restaurant located a few hundred metres from the centre of the village. Very well appointed with relaxing terrace overlooking extensive gardens. Booked a table on a Thursday evening to avail of the set menu €27 which a choice of 2 starters and main courses and one desert. The food was quite simply stunning, a creme brûlée of spring onion...
