We stopped by for old time sake and saw it closed. From the other reviews, it seems true. At least for regular business. We came here for many Valentines Days. Loved to casually have a couple beers on the deck and enjoyed our meal whatever it was. This place was so unique and quaint and we are really bummed! I... More

This place was the original topanga school back in the 1930s After it being a series of other business's including a infamous Restraunt called the Goldrush in the sixties. Remember Neil Young's album , After the Goldrush.....this is THE Goldrush ! It's still owned by Lance who can't decide if he wants to sell or what. No food .....no fun.....no... More

There is something about sitting on the porch under the trees with a cold beer and some salty snacks that leaves you transported to a different time. A frontier time. The atmosphere is awesome. Wide selection of beers draught and bottle and the food is decent albeit far short of cuisine. Spend an afternoon in the canyon at froggy's with... More

This place was never known for its food. Didn't have the freshest fish, the best tacos or too much that stood out on the culinary side. People who ate them swore by their ribs, and their sauteed veggies and caesar salad were decent. What we loved about Froggys was the old lodge style, the outdoor seating facing the mountains, and... We loved to eat here. It recently closed for food service. We hope it re-opens some day. This is a wonderful historic building also. It used to be the school house.

Absolutely loved this place. It's a no frills kind of place that delivers excellent meals and has a decent little wine list by the glass. The staff were super friendly and seemed joyful. Which is unusual in a restaurant.

We spent the day touring Malibu and Topanga Canyon and were looking for a place to eat. Came upon Foggy's and had a great meal outside on their deck. The halibut and trout were fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the casual atmosphere.

Froggys has been an institution in Topanga Canyon for years, some good some not. Stopped in for a quick bite after the beach and was happy to see the kitchen at its best again. We have always loved the quirkiness of the layout, and the beautiful outdoor deck. The decor is rustic , hunting lodge meets beach community. How to... More

I live in the neighborhood and frequently eat at Froggy's. The setting is very casual and the patrons friendly. There is live music most Friday nights. Cool place to hang, have a few drinks, eat some tasty fish dishes, and possibly make a new friend or two.

Enhance this local treasure with appreciation. Tip well, the prices are very reasonable to start and the service is always excellent and friendly.
