I love going to this restaurant. Because of its distance (and pricing), we only come here for special occasions. And when we do, I feel like I am dining in an elf restaurant in the forest. You sit next to a creek in the forest protected from too much sun by lovely curtains draped around the restaurant from which chandeliers... More

I've only been there once but that was enough. Service was slow and waiters had too much attitude. Way too expensive for the quality of food. Beautiful creek-side location though. The Canyon Bistro is a better place.

The Inn of The Seventh Ray is known by many, but frequented by few locals because: it has high prices, long waits, small portions and though the food is generally tasty, it can be erratic as the chef turnover rate is quite high. There are also septic issues at times. Best choice is to come for lunch which is less... More

OK lunches but otherwise it's for Topanga tourists and the rent-limo crowd. For a really good local meal go to Rocco's just behind the post office.

Every review talks about the romantic setting and..it is true! The setting is really nice. The food is fresh and a lot of care goes into offering healthy dishes. We went for a brunch and it was perfect. This has nothing to do with the food but I had the biggest laughs at the various misspellings of the menu...starting with... More

This is a unique restaurant built into the surrounding trees and flora with some very private, and, intimate tables that is charming and romantic. The food is prepared with very fresh, seasonal ingredients and is flavorful with a varied menu of meats, fish and salad entrees. Their fruit drinks are very impressive as they combine numerous fruits and spices in each... More

Hidden along a gorgeous creek bed are exquisite cozy tables in shaded alcoves. The menu is healthy and fresh, but nothing like anything we have eaten anywhere else. There is a pricey Sunday brunch with more unique dishes, but a breakfast menu also available. We love this romantic get away.

I attended a wedding here and it was a lovely location. The food was fantastic and the venue was very private. Your really can't fit more than 90 people, but it works for a small wedding. The site coordinator did a decent job, but she was a little bossy (I guess you have to be to get people moving). Dinner... More

I love the outdoors in this place both during the day and at night. I haven't been there for a while and the food has gotten better, however it is very overpriced. The service leaves a lot to be desired too. There are plenty of other choices in LA. I don't plan on going back any time soon.

The view is to die for, it feels like you are in another Country, and the food is amazing. It is a great spot for a romantic date, and especially if you want healthy eating.
