Very good food, but with sticker shock.

We were told going in that the food was fabulous, but the pricing was out of sight but that didn't deter us. We were there for a 7pm dinner. The service and atmosphere was excellent, but seemed a bit over the top with the very casual lifestyle on Rarotonga. We had many questions for our waiter... read more

We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, service and food at the Little Polynesian. We revisited it several times, for lunch and for dinner. One of the nights had live entertainment (Aaron Bloomfield) which was absolutely phenomenal; we ended up staying from about 4 till 10. As a bonus, happy hour was two for one while we were there.

Raved about "Little Poly" on our last trip, but the standards have slipped badly. Still friendly service from the lovely Marilyn, but the food isn't what it was. Have actually never had chicken (no offer of fixing the problem) so overcooked and inedible and despite repeated requests, tuna was also always overdone. We kept returning for the setting and convenience... More

We decided to have dinner at the Little Polynesia Restaurant. We where in a group of eight. The staff where great nothing was a problem, always smiling and enjoyed friendly banter. The food was very good, all our meals came out together, the setting is just magical, sitting having our meal watching the amazing sunset. Finally we enjoyed the music... More

The food is amazing I asked for a fish curry which wasn't on the menu and the chef cooked it for me. The staff are so friendly they treated us like family

We came here for breakfast after reading that they served lime and coconut pancakes - YUM but much to our disappointed when we ordered they were no longer serving lime and coconut pancakes despite being on the menu! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was average.

the food was very nice but unfortunately the night we went it was incredibly windy and we rushed through as it was very cold! We have been there many times during the day and next time we would go for lunch so that we could enjoy the lovely setting and view across the pool and beach as it is a... More

We visited Little Polynesian for the happy hour and tappers. The outlook and poolside are beautiful. The staff were great especially Jesse. The food was delicious and the drinks very fairly priced. We meet some lovely people and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

A fabulous place for a long lazy lunch. The day we went the service was friendly and efficient and we were surprised by the quality of the food. You are welcome to swim in the pool if you are dining there but having enjoyed two courses and then finishing with a Chocolate Mud cake for dessert we would probably have... More
