Everyone suggested we go to this restaurant for a special dinner, so we waited for my husbands birthday and this was our choice. The great thing was the owner picked us up and dropped us off at our resort, awesome service. The food and ambience on the other hand was mostly disappointing for the price. It was a rainy night... I ended up at this bar as part of the Rehab Party Bus that I went on. This place had the most people and it had the best atmosphere and music. If you like older style R&B or island music styles then this is the place for you to visit

This was not the VAIMA that this review was written about. We do not have Party Buses at the Vaima. This was for a bar in Nikao called Vaianas. The VAIMA is round on the south west side of the island in Vaimaanga, Titikaveka. Please note visitors wishing to dine at the VAIMA that we are situated just before Wigmores... More

WE were very sad when we heard that this had burned dpwn, but all is good now. It has been rebuilt & they have done a great job, You can still sit out side on the sand (tables & chairs) full service with lovely soft lights very romantic. This time we were unlucky & it rained so we sat inside... More

Food is great, but I do agree Owner behind the bar needs to go to Host Course. His wife was lovely. Have always enjoyed the food here. Quick service and friendly staff.

First of all the location of this place is so awesome because its right by the beach. Second of all, the happy hour specials here are so worth it.

Unfortunately this restaurant was recommended by another restaurant owner in the area.. It was a total letdown due to the fact, the owner who was behind the bar that night, was completely rude and unfriendly. Didn't smile once, or even acknowledge us (or other patrons) at all when we paid (not a word).. Not even a single "thank you" or... More

I am pretty stingy with the 5 star rating, but the food was very good as well as the service. The restaurant provided pick up and return service from our hotel, the prices were fair and it would definitely be on the list to visit again if I went back to Rarotonga.

This restaurant was a little hard to find as the cars park in front of the signs, but worth looking for. It was a delicious meal, the service was good, and would happily visit again
