We went to Vaima as recommended. We were picked up a little late as we did get forgotten about which was funny to us however these guys made sure we were well taken care once we were picked up. We were presented with a bottle of wine of our choice which we refused but they insisted for the mix up....

It was a lovely setting with table right on the beach with candle and torches going. We liked it so much we went back a second time. The fish of the day was lovely as was the pork belly. the chef deserves high accolades for how the fish is cooked in the fish of the day ~ given a perfection rating by 3 of our group - and I had the fish curry which was delicious. lovely hosts and fabulous wait staff.

Great food & service as well as take away pizza! Try the local seafood or the pork was good too. We were recommended to go here by our dive instructor and we came back a second time. Highly recommend!

The service was great on both occasions when we came, nice relaxed feeling sitting on the beach as the sun goes down. Food was great. Location is a little out of the way as at night times you would have to catch a bus right round the island to get there (only clockwise bus runs at night) or ride scooter...

Fantastic restaurant - wonderful atmosphere and fabulous food, a must to book as very popular. Great service and I loved the surroundings and music. Right on the beach front and was walking distance to our accommodation Cooks Bay Villas.

We were lucky to be invites to Vaima recently, three nights in a row! And having enjoyed dinners there in the past, we were very impressed with the consistency, the freshness and portions of the meals. Thumbs up guys!

Four of us went to Vaima on our last few days together in Rarotonga as we had heard such good reviews from our fellow guests at our accommodation.
