A real delight, very good quality and excellent value for money in superb traditional village pub surroundings. Highly recommended. We stayed in the area for one week and visited on two occasions. Scampi and chips very good as are the wide selection of very fresh sandwiches

We had early dinner here before going to a concert. Being strangers to Corbridge, we chose it because of the overall good reviews. It is a lovely-looking large old pub, with low ceiling, beams etc., quite dark but cozy-looking with candles on the tables. It would be lovely in the winter. There are several rooms and, given the early hour,... More

Had the best vegetarian Sunday dinner ever. Great quality of food and excellent service. My wife had an excellent steak that was 'perfectly cooked' as well as a delicious looking pudding. Will definitely return.

This pub offers a good selection of food with a varied menu and daily specials. You do not just get the traditional pub grub. The food is well presented and the portions are large. Pleased I did not have a starter. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

The lady at the bar was very friendly and welcoming. We already had a reservation for the night as I had heard it was advisable... More

The Black Bull is a very well managed Greene KIng pub with a good variety of guest ales. Provides value for money pub food that caters for all tastes. Try the excellent fish and chips, although lots to choose from. Service very good too. David and Linda keep a watchful eye to make sure that all goes well.

Party of 6 went for supper on a busy Sunday evening. We had some meals from the specials menu, the standard menu and the kids' menu. All of the food was cooked to order and despite being very busy we were served politely and efficiently. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and portion sizes were... More
