I arranged a birthday party with a difference. We booked the curry train to Corbridge, leaving Newcastle Central Station. We were met at the station by two of the waiters (Dressed fabulously!) who distributed menus and led us to the train. On board we had drinks (you can bring your own if you want) and ordered our meal. The restaurant... More

I booked this night out for 15 workmates whose age range was 20 to 67. We all had a great time. We were picked up at Central Station and escorted onto the train by a top man called Ali. Once aboard we placed our order, again with Ali's guidance, and with a quick drink. It took around 30 minutes to arrive... More

I was so looking forward to my meal, the food had always been excellent. What a disappointment. It was ok but that is was ok. I have had better food from a takeaway. Maybe the chef has changed, I don't know, but it was NOT the fantastic meal I expected.

Visited here last night as part of the 'Curry Train' experience or the 3rd time. Usual high standards throughout, with Abby most helpful both at the station and on the train. Ordered as required and were taken to the table quite quickly (it was VERY busy). A few poppadosm with dips followed by starters of Bhuna Prawn on Puree and... More

I am Chinese so used to curt, but efficient service. I don't care about rudeness, but this place downright mean. I will never, ever return.

We've eaten at The Valley a number of times now, when visiting friends and family in the North East and it has never failed to deliver a good standard of food, well presented and extremely tasty. Service is excellent even when one of the curry trains has just arrived. We have always driven to the restaurant so can't comment on... More
