Lovely restaurant tucked away in the medieval section of Arcidosso. Family owned and run, service is great and the food spectacular. We ate here twice during our stay with the most memorable Tagiette (homemade of course) with a Spring Pomodoro sauce. Excellent wine choices and a bargain for the quality. Also the Farro Salad appetizer is a standout! We brought... More

We sat down and had one of the highest quality And affordable meals in Tuscany. The house wine was great. The food was amazing. The quality of the products is very high. Beautiful tomatoes, local pecorino, and olive oil. I would easily eat here nightly.

This little restaurant offers a nice terrace with a view out over the valley and as the night descends a chance to watch the swifts dart through the air in playful exuberance The restaurant is extremely professional and well run, the plates, glassware, tables, toilets etc are spotlessly clean. The good is very good, we went for Pici with mushroom... More

We spent our last night in Italy in Bastarda Rossa, and we loved it! This is what Italian food means to me. I especially liked the Tortelli Bastardo and, even better, the "Peposo Ubriaco al Montecucco". Looking back, I think I should have ordered the latter twice (not because it's too little!)

Located in an ancient little town is a very good restaurant & some nights it's also a Spaghetteria! For summer outdoor seating, a beautiful view, and a good diiner, this is the place. Inside, very cozy and newly remodeled. To say the service is great is an understatement. Yuri, the owner of the restaurant is a wonderful person and very... More

A great place to stop if you are in the Amiata area. We enjoyed very much the antipasti (especially the cheese and pear tortino), great primi (I suggest the chestnut ravioli with wil boar ragu sauce) and secondi (meat seems to be excellent). Service was good, and the owner is very knowledgeable about the area, so definitely ask for advice... More

Traditional home made Tuscan food, all local products, just superb. Wine is excellent, the beer unique made from chestnuts.

The restaurant has a paved terrace which looks out over the valley and the sun setting over the hills. Beautiful!
