A "burger and the lot"------that is, with egg, cheese lettuce etc etc etc.....is a thrifty $15. Heck, I'd pay that just for the amazing fries that come with that burger. I'm still dreaming about them. This place is a nice stop. Actually it's pretty much the ONLY stop, so the world is lucky that it's good. Beers are a thrifty... More

We went as a group for a beer and had to go back for a meal. Very authentic Aussie pub and if you are from abroad, don't miss it. Get the licensee talking and he will be all the entertainment you need. The hospitality we received was excellent. Food was wonderful and the decor just what you would expect in... More

Tiny local pub in the hills of the Otways. Worth stopping at for a drink or meal. Walking groups catered for, and just down the road from Melba gully rainforest and glow worms. Usual selection of meals and few fancy ones too. I had lamb filets stuffed with feta and Mediterranean vegatables on mash. It was yummy and a good... More

Covers all your basic pub food prerequisites......average flavors, average presentation but large servings. Was very underwhelming because the restaurant had been recommended to us. We probably would have dined elsewhere in hindsight. The fish in the fish n chips didn't seem very fresh.....it was quite 'fishy' to smell & very fishy (unpleasantly so) in flavour. The restaurant/ bar area is... More

Have eaten here several times, the meals are always superb (the Parmies in my opinion are the best in the district), the steak is great, the calamari is sensational. Always a nice, warm, Aussie pub atmosphere (but if you're looking for a 5-star upper class restaurant I don't advise giving this place a bad review simply because it was a... More

An adventure all round- from the locals, to the duke box selection, the old nostalgic adds on the wall and the cool bar tender come chef! Porterhouse was perfectly cooked, kids penne went down a treat. Fish and chips surprisingly good and lamb shank melted in your mouth! Recommended by farm we stayed at. Onya Lavers Hill!!

The soup was wonderful but the coffee was a bit ordinary. The restaurant was well run, clean and had place mats with pictures of the Great Ocean road. We praised the soup and commented that coffee could be improved. the owner seemed happy to take on board our constructive criticism. Good spot
